Robert Robinson was amazing; he was my sales person and he was extremely helpful and patient throughout this process. Calvin Jones on the other hand was horrible! By far the worst customer service experien he was extremely helpful and patient throughout this process. Calvin Jones on the other hand was horrible! By far the worst customer service experience of my life. He was unprofessional, threatening and a complete BULLY! He is in the wrong business if he doesn't know how to talk to customers. Or, maybe he didn't like me cuz of my background/appearance.... idk, I can't tell you, but I sure as heck did not expect to be treated like crap when trying to buy an $80k truck. I ordered a TRX in April, at the best price available, which I am grateful for... Dennis helped me out tremendously, but it is still not a CHEAP truck. Calvin Jones made me feel like I was robbing them and treated me like $#!+, like I couldn't afford the truck... like I didn't belong in there cuz of my appearance. Even if that wasn't his intention, that's how it came across... cuz I have no other explanation on how/why he treated me like that. The dealership messed up on the purchase order paperwork, and didn't take any ownership... the paperwork I got in a text/mail showed $1750 as down payment; I had paid $1500... I was rushed by Dennis to get them an actual check or proof of financing, otherwise I wasn't going to be able to get the truck on the day of the delivery. I asked them to send me the paperwork that I could take to my bank and get them the proper documents needed. I didn't look at the $$$... I saw the final price after they had tacked on their own little fees... I wouldn't have known that $1750 was in error. I financed accordingly... I put $30k down, and was maxed out financially. Once I got to the dealership, I was told I needed to pay $250 difference cuz the paperwork showed $1750 down payment, and I only paid $1500--I told them that it is not my fault they messed up the paperwork, I already financed the truck based on the paperwork they sent me--I wanted to see what they could do on the $250 difference; it's not a lot of money--but I was spent! and it's a dealership who messed up, not the customer. Instead of someone taking ownership, apologizing for the mess up... Calvin Jones threatened to not sell me the truck... snagged the paperwork off in front of me couple of times. "If you're gonna leave me a bad review, I am not going to sell you a truck." Absolutely no OWNERSHIP! did not get a single apology that they messed up on the paperwork, that someone on their end should have double checked... no! instead he was being abusive towards me with his demeaning tone and aggressive body language. Who the heck does that to a customer? I had nothing but praises for this dealership and Dennis when I ordered my truck in April--but it all went down south the day of delivery. Dennis was clearly upset that I wasn't going to finance thru them, which I don't have to--Dennis said, "you have to pay the full amount today or else I am not letting you take the truck today." WHAT? why wouldn't it be the full amount? Why would you even use that tone towards me? Both Dennis and Calvin were disrespectful. They refused an FCA Affiliate Rewards discount as well; not so much so why they declined it, its how they declined it... "We don't have to do anything for you." "You are already getting a truck for a great price, you're not getting anything else." They were completely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I would have appreciated a calmer tone and an apology on the paperwork mess up--instead I was given attitude and the blame was solely placed on me when they were clearly trying to f#*% me over. Calvin Jones is the only reason I will not return to this dealership. I did speak to the owner, Mo Hernandez... and I will say this, he was calm, cool-minded, and very professional and respectful--him and I spoke on the phone for over 30 mins; he actually treated me with respect, heard me out--genuinely seemed concerned about how I was treated, but at that point, the damage was already done. They were not going to refund the $250 they took the day of delivery and the FCA Affiliate rewards couldn't be applied either--even if he had been able to help, I think the bad experience with Calvin Jones completely ruined everything for me. I want to thank Mo for at least treating me like a human and not like an animal--I appreciate that! just wish your employees, especially your General Managers followed your lead. More
