Bait and Switch unethical tactics Dealer quoted a low firm price for 2 trucks, identical except for their paint color, by email. Made an appointment and drove my family over 2 hours t Dealer quoted a low firm price for 2 trucks, identical except for their paint color, by email. Made an appointment and drove my family over 2 hours to buy one. Then we spent over three hours with a new salesman (most of it waiting around). When we decided on a color, suddenly the price was NOT the same, and an additional $899 appeared on the Purchase Agreement. This up charge was for "corrosion protection" we didn't ask for; we were buying the 2015 F150 with the rustproof all-aluminum body. The salesman showed us a window sticker showing the up charge also covered the cost of a bedliner--but the truck had no bedliner. When we asked why the dealer would not honor the price quoted and confirmed, the salesman simply said there was a miscommunication and we shouldn't have been quoted the original price that brought us there in the first place. More
