I just wanted to say thanks to Rick. He helped us out when Patrick was out of the office. We had purchased a new (to us) vehicle at Schoepp and we realized that it was due for an oil change when we boug when Patrick was out of the office. Rick set us up with an oil change at Schoepp and a professional auto glass repair free of charge to us. The oil change took 10 minutes and the glass repair guy came to my workplace and fixed it while I was working. We were able to test drive the vehicle at 9 am the next morning (on the Labor Day holiday) and were driving away as satisfied customers by 11 am. The service was comprehensive but also very considerate of our time. We were very impressed from the start of this process. We had wanted to rent a convertible for a trip we were taking in September and come to find out that is not possible in the Madison area. We found the Mercedes Benz on the internet site of Schoepp Motors and there was an email address that you could contact Pat through. This was on a Sunday afternoon so we sent Pat an email and then went for a ride to see what the car looked like. We had a return phone call from Pat within less than 3 hours to set up an appointment for us to look at the car today. When we arrived they had the car up front with the top down and ready for us to take a ride. He is a wonderful sales person and could give us the answers to all of our questions we had about the various buttons on the car. We took our test drive and was met by the manager when we returned because Pat was with another client and they did not want us to think we were not being taken care of. We came to an agreed upon price and had the paperwork filled out and drove off with our purchase in a short amount of time. I am still in awe at the 2012 vehicle I bought last night. I hadn't expected to make an immediate purchase, but the deal Patrick gave me was too good to pass up. Here's the best part: Patrick actually got me a HIGHER price for my vehicle than I was asking on craigslist. Here's what he did for me: he took my vehicle and allowed me to trade down to a lower-priced vehicle and Schoepp cut me a check for the difference. Most dealers wouldn't even consider that. This saved us extra money over a private sale and separate purchase because it meant that we didn't have to pay sales tax on the new (to us) vehicle. I'll recommend Patrick at Schoepp to anyone, and they will definitely be the first place I shop in the future. More
