After combing the internet for information, vehicle information, and dealer ratings, I decided to "stay in town" and purchase a 2012 AWD Chevrolet Equinox LS from Schumacher. The price was good, the pe information, and dealer ratings, I decided to "stay in town" and purchase a 2012 AWD Chevrolet Equinox LS from Schumacher. The price was good, the people at the dealership were friendly, responsive and quick to answer any and all questions. I've only had the car for a few days but so far it's been everything I've expected and more. I will have more to say about their service department once I've brought the car in for its first scheduled maintenance. More

I Checked Several -Web-Sites -Spoke to Other Tenants, Co- Workers, Etc, & Decided to Call this Internet Person , Kathleen Ryan , and Tell Her -My Situation & Actually Figured She'd - Wish Me Well ,& HANG UP ! BUT,Instead of Hanging Up, Kathleen Listened,& Talked & Suggested & I - WENT to SCHUMAKER-LITTLE FALLS,NJ to meet Her ,& Derek Levy ,(salesman) , & The Owner of SHUMACKER & a few Other - Non-Pushy - Real People. DEREK Reminded Me of a Marine Sgt I followed into a Jungle many yrs ago ,He Knew I was Nervous , But within a Short Time ,I could Tell -( He's - O K & Knows His STUFF ) ..In the Meantime ,Other Staff Poeple are Working F O R you ,& NOT Ripping You Off .. I ended up Selecting an 08 Silver Impala ,,that My Other Tenants are a Little -Jealous Of, - as Opposed To CARS & D E A L S they THOUGHT they got ,, & The Last Person you Meet ,is JOE - to SIGN - OFF & make any Adjustments/Extra Warranty-,Gap Insur,( yadda ) that You WANT / Or, DONT Want.. I started on the internet and received an excellent quote. That quote brought me in the next day. There was only one more item to negotiate - my trade in. Everyone involoved was friendly and accomodating and very easy to deal with, It was a most enjoyable experience. I actually look forward to having my Chevy maintained at the dealership as well. Being a victim of the flooding caused by Hurricane Irene and having lost so much, the Schumacher team did everything they could to give me some hope back. We did an internet search and found the vehicle we wanted, out of state. Most of the other local dealers wanted to sell us a four wheel drive Colorado they had on the lot, not the two wheel drive we wanted, out of state. Most of the other local dealers wanted to sell us a four wheel drive Colorado they had on the lot, not the two wheel drive we wanted, or they tried to sell us on ordering a vehicle which takes weeks and is more expensive. Schumacher got our dream truck down from Connecticut quickly and painlessly. Schumacher Chevrolet gave us the best deal financially of all the dealers contacted. By bringing in the truck we wanted, Schumacher closed the deal quickly, which was important to us. After the sale we received an offer from Kathleen to give us a personal lesson on what all the new buttons and gadgets on the dashboard are, and how to operate them. Kathleen has also contacted us to make sure we were happy with the truck and the deal, which we are. Schumacher Chevrolet has a great selection of chocolate candy, small wrapped bars, in a big bowl on the desk and you can help yourself when you visit the showroom or office. The bowl gets refilled instantly when the supply gets low. There's a tv, a coffee table, comfy padded chairs, reading material, so if you're forced to wait for a repair or paperwork to go through, you can keep busy! The showroom, office and lot are very clean, the people are friendsly, and you get a good deal on a new truck and all the Milky Way candy bars you want at Schumacher Chevrolet, what more can anyone want?
