You must understand that I was in my 80s and went to the dealership by myself to look at cars -- at the insistence of a friend of mine. He said, "Go by yourself and buy the car YOU want!" I did -- I love it -- and I will probably drive it till they take my license off of me. Drove it 12,000 miles the first year and spent less than $400 on gas. And I do drive all over the place! Steve Vadala was the employee I dealt with and he was extremely nice. More
Lies, deception and lack of care for customers So i got a new sales person whom i told my budget to. disputed my budget he kept putting me in cars 10k+ over budget stating he could negotiated them So i got a new sales person whom i told my budget to. disputed my budget he kept putting me in cars 10k+ over budget stating he could negotiated them down to my price range. well long story short they couldn’t so i fell in love with a car over budget. when talking to salesmen i’m a female and they felt the need to talk to me like i had no knowledge of cars, when in fact i do. My first experience i was speaking on the phone to clark when i arrived at the dealership clark passed me off to an salesman named james and told james i’d be a real easy sale he’d have no issues selling me a car because i would be easy. that was offensive to me and it almost made me walk out of the dealership on the spot. had it not been for a specific car i was after i would have. Clark took me to a car similar to the one i was looking at and i had to tell him it wasn’t the right car, but he tired insisting i drive that car instead that it was better than what i was looking at. He took me to several other cars trying to talk me into buying a car that did not meet my budget, condition, style or mileage requirements. I knew more about the cars on the lot and what vehicles they had available than clark did... which was a sign that i was dealing with a very inexperienced salesman who didn’t know what he was doing. overall if you’re a female done shop here they feel the need to belittle you and treat you like you’re ignorant. i went back the next day with my husband so he could also see the vehicle i was looking at and from that moment on i was completely ignored. like hello i’m the one buying a car not him, if it wasn’t for me he wouldn’t even be here. so basically the deal brought me in but had it not been for that i would never step foot back in that dealership. we decided to purchase the car and they left us sitting at a table for 2 hours nobody told us what was going on or why we were just left sitting there. finally we make it to finance and the gentleman who helped us was more interested in texting his wife and hanging out with his daughter than assisting us. he even let us walk out the door without making our down payment on the car. we were finally finished with him and at that point told us the lady would show us how to link our phones to bluetooth and that the issues we had with the vehicle would be taken care of. lies, the mud was not cleaned out of the carpets, the tire pressure was not fixed. i was told just take it home and put air in it myself and that i could clean it. This is a new car i shouldn’t be driving it off the lot having to make repairs to it myself.... just a bad experience all around. Decent deal on a car but terrible customer service and unprofessional employees. More

Was lied to about vehicle not being in an accident. Very poor customer service. Asked the salesman if the car had been in any accidents and was told no. after pulling a carfax I found that it had bee Very poor customer service. When confronting the sales manager I was told that they where very minor and did not require paint and excuse after excuse trying to cover up("we missed that in the carfax because it was so minor"). A simple question with vehicle history easily available to the pubic and I was lied to. I can only imagine what lies they will tell on other harder to find vehicle information. I have been a customer of Scott Clark Toyota since 1998 so I consider Steve did an excellent job at having the service done promptly on my vehicles. I have been a customer of Scott Clark Toyota since 1998 so I consider myself a “very loyal” customer. On average I have had to wait two to three hours to have the standard maintenance done on the vehicles. This is the first time I was in and out within an hour. Steve, you deserve a raise. Thank you.
