This may have been the best customer service I’ve enjoyed in a long, long time! Matt and Ryan were excellent. Got two of our Toyotas serviced (new brakes on both and tires on one) in less than 2 days AND s in a long, long time! Matt and Ryan were excellent. Any time my visit to the Scatt Clark ends with special care. I had bad experience only for a day and that was with a new hired employee. I went in to purchase a new Rav4 and was told that with the specs I wanted, it was unlikely they'd ever get one in. No harm no foul. I told them thanks, headed to a different dealership and ordered a different vehicle. A few days later, Kim, contacted me to see if I'd come in and talk to her about the specs I was looking for. I told her I had already been in and the salesperson told me it probably wouldn't happen. She persisted saying she might be able to get something if I just came in and gave her the specs I was looking for. I gave her the specs over the phone and a few days later she told me she had that exact vehicle coming in. I said that's great and headed to the dealership. I verified with her that this was an in bound vehicle and not one that they might be able to get. She assured me that once I signed, it was mine and gave me a delivery date for about a month later. I called the other dealership that I had reserved a vehicle at and cancelled my order. They tried to discourage me because the car was only a few days out. As my wife and I liked the RAV4 better, we cancelled. A few weeks later Kim messaged me and said that my particular colors were what was delaying them finding a vehicle. I told her that I was confused because we had discussed that a vehicle was already mine and would be delivered in a few weeks. She said that they'd keep looking and let me know when they found what I was looking for. In a seller's market, like this, there shouldn't be any reason for a salesperson to be this blatantly dishonest to make a sale. The frustrating thing is that I now can longer get the other vehicle we were looking at because of delays. I've also tried to call and cancel my order and I haven't heard back. I'm probably going to have to go back in to the dealership to cancel this order. More
