I’ve been car shopping for YEARS, I’ve NEVER had anyone run a credit check on my without my consent. David Tignonsini knew ahead of time that I was purchasing the vehicle in cash, but still ran a credit ch run a credit check on my without my consent. David Tignonsini knew ahead of time that I was purchasing the vehicle in cash, but still ran a credit check on me when all he needed to do was do an OFAC check which NEVER requires a social security number in the 1st place. So to me it seemed like it was intentional because my social security number was added to the OFAC check. This messed up my credit score because I’m trying to buy a home and was told not to let anyone touch my credit, so this whole thing has caused me a HUGE setback. I got an apology followed by an inconvenience just to clear up my credit report. Dominick Salemi on the other hand made it sound like it was a soft credit check which I find hard to believe because my credit score dropped, and this never has happened to me when a soft credit check was done in the past. Overall this dealership won’t be recommended whatsoever. I’ll be sure to try and place my experience on line as well if possible. More
