While I've been involved in the automotive industry and have had serious reservations about the buying experience at a dealership in the past, including several less than satisfactory dealings at other places while acquiring cars for my wife, I decided to give it a shot. Being an ASE certified tech, and having run similar businesses in the past, I feel entitled to speak my mind and not have a flim flam routine performed in my presence. I'm a straight forward type of guy, and so is Paulie. When I explained to him what I wanted, expected and was looking for, he didn't hesitate to lead me right to it. There was not even a hint of the commonly contrived 'bait and switch' tactics that most car buyers fear. I got exactly what I was looking for at the price I expected to pay. Everyone was honest and forthright about the value of my proposed trades, and I elected to keep them while still completing my purchase. There were other vehicles for the taking, but he understood the parameters behind my decision making, and didn't stray even by an inch. I'm coming back to take advantage of other upgrades that Scranton offered to make the vehicle a little more compatible with my line of work and personal tastes as well. I'm a car guy at heart, and while many people like me are similarly set against transactions at major dealerships, I can whole heartedly endorse Scranton Motors as a dealership that exceeds the expectations of even the toughest customers like myself. I will be coming back again for my next GM purchase! More

So I googled Scranton motors and read a review about o e of their salesmen, Paulie. I called him, met him and my experience with him was outstanding. He takes care his costumers, (not like the salesman at Balise). He went out of his way to make my purchase experience flawless. Great salesman! My job is also in sales and I appreciated his commitment to making me happy because I do the same with my costumers. By the way, if you like coffee, Italian espresso, he has his own machine by his desk. I liked the small dealership attention, but for inventory they have a great selection. Go see Paulie! And now about Balise, I have purchased five business vehicles in the past two years from Balise, and expected, let's say, a little more attention being a repeat customer. The last email I sent to the salesman never received a response, They will never see me again. Scranton motors has a great selection and they will be my new dealership. When I went to get some paperwork done at 7:00 pm at Scranton motors, I got a chance to meet the owner, Mr. Tom Scranton, you don't see the owners in too many dealerships, that really says a lot about Scranton Motors! Warm reception, patience, and overall excellence. I have once had to call the police on a dealership; they would not give me my keys back after they “appraised” my trade-in. Upon arrival, I was immediately welcomed, offered coffee, and assisted by Sage who patiently answered every question I had. Paulie was simply amazing ! I had been speaking with a girl on the phone prior to coming to Scrantons. The first thing I told Paulie was that I was just looking and was not buying today ! Paulie looked at me a serious as could be and said “Oh thank god sir cuz I’m not selling today but if you would like let’s test drive the the truck to Dunkin’ Donuts to get a coffee” he wanted a coffee lol.
