Dropped vehicle off for appointment night prior to appointment. Service called at 230 pm on appointment day, hadn't looked at vehicle, were going to look at it prior to closing at 500 pm. I stated that I needed the vehicle back for the next day no matter what, fixed or not. She stated that they would leave the vehicle outside after diagnosing with keys in gas cap but they would call me back prior to 500 pm with diagnosis. No call at 5 pm, I called at 510 pm, service gone home for the day. Sales was still open, they stated my car was not outside, but instead left the vehicle nside the shop, not looked at yet. I picked up my undiagnosed vehicle thanks to the help of the sales department. I will no longer utilize Scranton for service and was in the market for a new vehicle, I instead purchased today a large GM SUV from a different dealership in Vernon, CT. More
This was the second attempted service to install a tow hitch along with two other issues (1. New issue: Radio malfunctioning and 2. Repeat issue: Transmission). The first service attempt for the tow hitc hitch along with two other issues (1. New issue: Radio malfunctioning and 2. Repeat issue: Transmission). The first service attempt for the tow hitch was unsuccessful due to the outsourced company not picking up the car in time to complete. As of now, we will once again need to come back for a third service as they were unable to assess the transmission (was told not enough time to review due to our schedule in needing the vehicle back) and the radio which is still malfunctioning. We purchased this vehicle on 9/13/21 and will now be up to our 3rd service request in just 6-7 weeks after purchasing the vehicle. While I understand the numerous issues impacting companies in the current climate, I do not appreciate having to return every two or so weeks in the hopes that our repeat issues will be resolved. At this point I can only hope that when we return once again on 11/8/21, it will be the last service required in order to resolve the repeated issues. More
