They provided a loaner car for me, and a short time later called me and explained exactly what was wrong, what it would take to fix it, and an estimated time for completion. My car was fixed sooner than I had expected, and the price was very reasonable. The brakes are now much better than when I bought the car 2 years ago...It's like driving a brand-new car! This is not the first time the folks at Secor have gone above and beyond the call to help me. They are a GREAT team that genuinely care about their customers, and they get the job done correctly. THANK YOU very sincerely to the entire Service Team !!! More

AAA towed me and the Volvo to your Volvo dealership. The service department could not have been more compassionate and professional. They quickly assessed the condition of the car to be as fatal as I suspected. My predicament seemed unsurmountable, but thanks to the caring assistance of the Secor staff, they arranged for me to rent a car, offered to keep my stationary car in their lot at no charge and even had one of their staff drive me to the rental agency. As luck would have it, Secor has a Subaru franchise just down the road. My wife and I were planning to lease or purchase a Subaru upon our return to Long Island. Without hesitation, in my rented Kia I went to Secor Subaru where I met Wayne Carpenter, the salesman who worked with me and my wife from that moment until just about 24 hours later when we drove to our hotel room in a new 2019 Subaru Outback, under lease. Wayne went out of his way to satisfy our preferences regarding the disposition of the 2008 Volvo, the color of the vehicle we wanted, and the terms of the lease. He stayed with us from noon to 5pm, without even breaking for lunch, tending to every detail required for us to complete the deal and drive off the lot. Keven O’Donovan in accounting, was very thorough and equally determined to help us complete the lease and title paperwork, made more complicated than usual given that the car was to be registered in NY. His patience and professionalism, like that shown by Wayne Carpenter, is a credit to Secor Subaru. We have every reason to expect the car will treat us to the same level of excellence we received from the staff at Secor Volvo and Secor Subaru. More

Had a problem with getting work done and in timely fashion Had an appointment made well in advance with Jay, a great employee at the service center. The work was turned over to Amanda and I have had difficulti Had an appointment made well in advance with Jay, a great employee at the service center. The work was turned over to Amanda and I have had difficulties in getting satisfactory work done. Work on a simple Dent Wizard job and the steering column took almost 5 days. A new scratch appeared when I picked up the car that needed to be repaired by the Secor Collision Technology shop and the steering column seam came apart when I got the car home. This was very stressful and affected my whole week's work schedule. I am usually very pleased with this dealership and will recommend them out of my loyalty to other employees, but I must say that I was not pleased with Amanda's responsibility, planning, or follow-through in this matter. John Pasternak and Jennifer Lewis were great addressing my customer service concerns and correcting the problem with an addional two day repair and paint job. My car looks great now but I have not gone back to the Secor Service Department yet to address the steering column issue......My salesman Dan Mirles is always great and I have bought all my cars from Secor since 2004; I own 2016 and 2018 Foresters. After completing a 30,000 mile service on my 2015 Forester, I was informed that a crack in the differential required that a new part needed to be orde After completing a 30,000 mile service on my 2015 Forester, I was informed that a crack in the differential required that a new part needed to be ordered and installed. Since I had previous plans for an overseas trip, the service rep agreed to keep the car until the work had been completed, then park it at the Secor service center and finally return it to my home in Old Lyme some 15 miles away. I returned frkm my trip yesterday and was very pleased to find my car fully repaired and in my home garage. In my view, that was quality service at many levels. Many thanks to the Secor service team and particularly to Amanda who made all the arrangements. Damon Smith More
