Jeeps are a joke now, just like this country I explained to my service advisor “John” that my 2014 jeep patriot was shaking like a leaf when in drve and foot on brake. I noticed it afterbi purchased it on the way home and took it to my mechanic. He diagnosed it as an “engine balance” problem and showed me online that jeep has a problem withe their 2.4L 4 cyl engine. I took it first to Smithtown jeep n they said it was the motor mounts. They changed them and charged me, after o explained my mechanics’ diagnosis. They too, were in denial. I gave it to my dsughter for 21st birthday present and she drove it up to school in poukeepsie. She had ut until the summer n the problem persists!!! I took it to security jeep hoping that they would do the right thing!!! Instaed, i got an explanation from”John”, that this “is a characteristic of this particular engine, and because there were no codes thrown, that there was nothing they could do, and they weren’t about to start tearing an engine apart because the entire vehicle shakes when the vehicle is in drive with foot on brake.” Now the mileage is going over the 60,000 mile mark and is no more warranty. This sucks, the whole vehicle shakes When its in drive withe ur foot on the brake. More

I was saved by Business Development Director, Michelle Scalise. Michelle listened to my issues and dealt with each one in a thorough and fair manner. She taught me some things about the vehicle features that were behaving in a way that I didn't understand and she provided remedies for the legitimate failures. Everything is resolved now and I am thrilled with my purchase and would shop at Security again for sure. The guys in service and parts were patient and helpful and even the valet was a gentleman. Hate this car Had the car for 4 months. Took it in for an oil change and a recall and because it was stalling every day. Turns out there were 2 recalls on the car, Had the car for 4 months. Turns out there were 2 recalls on the car, my car kept stalling because it had no oil (how that happens with a 2019 brand new car I have no idea), got the oil change and they had my car for 2 weeks. Had a rental all that time. Have to go back in 1,000 miles for an oil consumption test (because I have nothing else better to do with my time). And my right headlight goes in and out. They said they didn’t observe this but I do and it’s still happening. I started calling after a week for an update while they had my car and no one ever got back to me. Started calling every day just for an update until I threatened to show up with my lawyer and then I got a call back- 2 days before I got my car back. Got my car back and it was filthy. Mud inside the passanger door on the console- I had to take my car to the car wash. Horrible service. More

Pull in for service on date, greeter says hi why are you here-no clue on appointment made 6 weeks prior. They did good job on service, few things to act upon at 15K as well. However, how much do u want to bet at 15K service, they will forget about the 10K pending issues. Dashboard has rattle that don’t want to take apart to look for, so still has rattle. More

Always was very happy but the last time I went in was last week before Thanksgiving for an oil change I had to go b Usually the service is excellent. Always was very happy but the last time I went in was last week before Thanksgiving for an oil change I had to go back three times because the first two times they gave me excuses that one it was after 7 o’clock which I didn’t know was the movie and chew I can’t before 7 o’clock and he has it with him and leave early so no one was there to do it. The biggest problem was I have a light on in my car and I pulled in as soon as I can adjust it and three times I was told it should be done I would have to come back during normal business . I like the service department because she can come without an appointment which helps me because I have odd job hours. I now have to bring the car back again and hold at this time they can turn the four-wheel-drive light off and see why it’s happening. More
