I have been doing business with Huntington ford for over 20 years. I have bought three cars from them and they are the only one who services them. The customer service is nothing but outstanding. Terrible experience with these guys from the start. They use below the belt tactics that would make you puke. I wanted to lease a 2013 Focus and Bob Davis was the sales person I spoke with. We agreed to a use below the belt tactics that would make you puke. I wanted to lease a 2013 Focus and Bob Davis was the sales person I spoke with. We agreed to a price of $212/month and we shook hands on it and made a down payment of $200 to secure the deal in addition to another $2100 in down payment charges once I got the keys. I asked for a signed document of what we agreed on but was told I had nothing to worry and to come back in 3 days as the car was being brought in from another dealership. The day I come back to pick up the car, these idiots tell me my monthly charge is $217. I asked the sales guy how this number changed and he said they had to factor in the nut for my alloy wheels and that he had forgotten about it. How convenient! I demanded they address the situation before I make any more payments, after which, the best they could give me was one free oil change and a voucher for a one time trial of a car wash nearby. I was tired of negotiating after a long day at work, and I unfortunately gave in. Things got even better, when the new car of just 2 months and 2700 miles started making loud rattling noises every time I drive. The transmission was acting funny too in low gear. They kept my car overnight and gave me a rental car (which they should as the Ford company pays for that). What I get is a tiny Fiat 500, not even a car of comparable size like the 2L Focus. When I returned the rental car the next day, I'm told that I pay the service tax on the car. Now why would I pay anything on the rental car when the only reason that brought me to the service center is loud rattling in the new car? Megan at the Service Center then informs me that the next time my car is held overnight, I'd need to sign up for their car rental program and I wouldn't be getting free rentals anymore. Like wtf! Brand new car and if it gives issues, you will not assume liability or honor Ford's warranty support? So I go back and discuss this with the salesperson Bob, and he gives me this alternate story of how Huntington is paying for the rental and not Ford, which I know is BS. He then says he'd call his manager to explain things to me and makes me wait 20 minutes at his desk, with no sign of anyone. When I realized no one would come forward to address this BS on the rental cars, I walked out of there and reported these jerks to Ford Customer Care. Never going back again. More
Once again Huntington Ford has fell very short on having any decent customer service. After several bad treatments there I found myself in a pinch and felt as though they would be able to help. My 2010 Fusi any decent customer service. After several bad treatments there I found myself in a pinch and felt as though they would be able to help. My 2010 Fusion... Still under warranty... Had its sunroof break in the open position as the rain was moving in. My current, very well equipped dealer in Lake Orion told me to come right in to get it closed but I could not out run the rain. I contacted Huntington Ford and explained the situation to them. The very rude service advisor on the phone advised me they were very busy and might be able to look at it later if I could drop it off. I was not looking for a fix that day, just help to get my wide open sunroof closed. A simple request of any human being that owns a car with a sunroof in the rain. I was told that they would not look at it. Nothing, no help. Right on par. I contacted Skalnek Ford who was also booked up all day and was told to bring it right in. I also called Lincoln of Troy who made time to see my fusion to close my sunroof until I could have it fixed. Huntington Ford still has the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with at any dealership of any car make I have ever been to. I highly reccomend driving the few extra miles north to Lake Orion More
The entire service expierence everytime I return to Huntington Ford in Rochester Hills Michigan is unlike any other dealer. Their sense of urgency for your saftey, time, expense, and over all well being Huntington Ford in Rochester Hills Michigan is unlike any other dealer. Their sense of urgency for your saftey, time, expense, and over all well being is 2nd to none. Each service advisor takes the time to listen to your concerns, for instance Matt Weyers listened to my long explanation of a transmission update on my 2010 Ford Fusion which unfortunately took to Elder Ford in Troy because of location to a work function, I was promised a ride to a location near Elder while they did the update to my Fusion, well apparently you have to track down the shuttle driver yourself at Elder, unsuccessfull, I walked to my destination, when I picked my car up later, the transmission was far worse than when I brought it in. I tried to explain to the service advisor my concerns about the changes in my shift pattern, his response to me (not knowing I was a former licensed mechanic in the state of Michigan before I recieved my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering) was that the new updates had to get used to my driving pattern. I stressed my concern that there was more to the changes in my transmission. I asked did anyone test drive or check for leaks ? He assured that evrything was done and sent me on my way. Well the next day the shifting appeared to be getting worse so I called Matt Weyers up at Huntington Ford,he looked up my information and explained I had rental car coverage on my plan,( which Shawn Burchi explained to me when I purchased my Fusion from her, I would not hesitate to look up Shawn on your next Lease or purchase) I had forgotten this until Matt explained my options. We all no having a safe reliable car is a must in the Metro Detroit area. So later that day Matt called with confimation of a rental car, I dropped off and picked up my rental in a matter of minutes ! The next day Matt called and updated me on the Fusion, he said " your fuild was extremely low, from a axel shaft seal that was leaking (You think Elder Ford would have caught this 2 days prior when they said they checked all theses things ! ). By the way the axel shaft & seal are recall items. Returned to drop off rental and pick up my Fusion, while waiting for the car to get washed and brought up, I stuck my head in Shawn Burchi's office to say hello, she asked if everything was ok ? before I could say anything my freshly cleaned Fusion was pulled up right outside her window. SO the only dilemas I have with Huntington is Buy or Lease LOL, and Shawn has all the knowledge for both and a outstanding service department behind her ! So thank you Huntington Ford you have a customer for life ! So after you buy or lease your car from Shawn Burchi, visit Matt, Meagen,or Greg in service and have no worries. I have visited this location 3 times and all of them were horrible experiences. I don't understand how they are still in business. Service department is rude. No pricing on the cars which does not fair we horrible experiences. I don't understand how they are still in business. Service department is rude. No pricing on the cars which does not fair well with me. Once I was even in an accident in front of the building and pulled into their lot to get out of the way before the tow truck got there- one gentleman that asked if I was in the market for a car and another told me to move my vehicle elsewhere- neither even bothered to ask if I was ok.
