Overbooked! Took more than 4 hours to get a diagnosis. I had a 10:30 appt and finished up at 3:30. Repair took less than an hour of that. I live out of town, and do not have a dealership at home. I purchased a new Jetta in El Paso, TX a year ago and was traveling to B’ham, AL when my service light came on. I called Sierra but no appointment was available until after the holiday but we were leaving be traveling to B’ham, AL when my service light came on. After several calls over multiple days I finally got to talk to someone and make an appointment to have my Beetle serviced. They’ve seen my car before so they know exactly what I have. I was quoted just ov talk to someone and make an appointment to have my Beetle serviced. They’ve seen my car before so they know exactly what I have. I was quoted just over $120 for the service. When I went to pay it was over $190! And that’s with a $20 coupon!! They didn’t try and remedy it at all! They just blamed the person that set the appointment and said she had misquoted me. Then, on the way home, my car began vibrating and the check tire light and warning came on. I live 50 miles away and I was far enough away that I was not going back to have to wait for them all over again. I went to a tire shop at home and they found that Serra Volkswagen had knocked a weight off when they were rotating the tires that morning. That cost me $67 more to fix that problem. Now it runs well and I won’t be back to Serra again. More
