Oil Change & Tire Rotation Brought my car in last Saturday for an oil change & was due for tire rotation, Both James & Alicia did a great job. Never seen a girl move that fast! Brought my car in last Saturday for an oil change & was due for tire rotation, Both James & Alicia did a great job. Never seen a girl move that fast! They explained what they had done & since it was my last free visit, I asked what it would be next time I came in. Alicia took the time to find out & brought a list of everything that was included in that price. I was impressed with the two of them, very nice & efficient. A big Thank You & Kudo's to both of them. Screw Them!!! I would give them less than a 1 if I could. I bought a car from them a year ago in October. I have never had issues with this car. All of a sudden, I am being told by a guy doing my oil change that oil is getting into the overflow container. He actually showed me what was going on. I took it to Shaheen Chevrolet. They looked at my car and told me that the ENTIRE engine had to be replaced. This car was ONLY bought a year ago!!! I always kept up with the oil changes and never had any other issues. Once they told me what was wrong with the car, I immediately received a call from the sales department. They asked me how much I had left to pay on the car and so forth. They were really pushy in regards to me getting a new car. With no car and my car still with their mechanics, they wouldn't call me when they said they would and when they finally did, it was to tell me that they couldn't get me a new car. For all the work that needed to be done on my car, they were going to charge me $6300!!!! Something told me to take my car to another mechanic. When I told them that I would be coming for my car and taking it somewhere else, they were very rude and the guy went on and on about how my car wouldn't be fixed right. I was forceful in trying to get me to tell him where I was sending my car. I refused to tell him! When I called the new mechanic he looked at my car immediately and told me everything that was wrong with it. Everything he said was consistent with the dealership. He only charged me $2500. When the tow truck came to pick up my car, he asked them where my car was in the lot, (by the way they have numbered lots for the mechanics area, so they would've had to give him the number so he new where to go), the guy told him "you'll just have to find it yourself." Also, my window scraper for snow was stolen! Do NOT shop with Shaheen Chevrolet. There is no reason why I should've had to get the whole engine replaced after only having the car for a year. They sold me a lemon and tried to rush me into just giving up my car. The mechanics overcharged me completely and were very rude and persistent in getting me to tell them who I took my car too. More
Oil change experience was great. Ken and Alicia we're great. Explained everything and were very efficient. Got me coffee and offered a snack. He didn't even bother to test drive her vehicle until I asked if the car was safe to drive (which by the way was unsafe to drive and be on the road) and I was the one who had to offer options as to what Shaheen's could do to work with us on the issue! Turns out her car needed an entirely new Transmission control valve at 8700 miles! Graff Chevrolet is the one who is performing the warranty work for us since Shaheen showed no interest in servicing a new GM vehicle or helping us out in any capacity. My driveway has 2 new Chevrolet and a certified new Chevrolet in it, and I can guarantee you this they will never have my business again! I sent her there in hopes that this certified Chevrolet dealer would provide some kind of service, I will be making a formal complaint direct to General Motors corporate! More
Just bad i bought a certified preowned in april,its now july and my vehicle is in the shop for the 3rd time in 4 weeks for the same issue. On top of these 3 vi i bought a certified preowned in april,its now july and my vehicle is in the shop for the 3rd time in 4 weeks for the same issue. On top of these 3 visits my certified preowed needs oil consumption testing. So IF they fix it this time i will have to bring it in a total of 10 times in the first year. Service manager blames the people who built it instead of his team who certified it. More
I will NEVER go back to Shaheen Chevrolet. I went to get my oil change there and about a week and a half later I went to replace my headlight and notice that the wire to my hood was hanging and was not atta my oil change there and about a week and a half later I went to replace my headlight and notice that the wire to my hood was hanging and was not attached to the lever. So I drove over to Shaheen asked to speak to a manager. Odus said that he was a manager and I explained to him that my wire is hanging and it is not attached to the hood lever. Odus checked it and said "yup it's broken" They tried to pull on the wire to open the hood and could not get it open. I told him that they were the last people who was under my hood. He said that he would order the part and they will take care of it. So when Odus called me back he stated that it would be $221 and that they will "Help Me Out" and do it for $157 and pay for the hood lever. I was in shock that they are charging me for breaking something on my vehicle and not informing me of it. So then I also talk to Tom and Mark and they both say that it will be $157 to fix and that they weren't sure that they broke it. So when I dropped off my truck to be fixed (They didn't even offer to have their service van pick me up, I had to call them back to see if they have a service van they drops off customers back at work, and they said yes) Mark asked me if I had the paperwork from the oil change and I said yes. I got it out of my truck and he said go to page 2, I told him they didn't give me a page 2. He show me their page 2 that was not given to me or told to me and under notes it said "Hood Lever Separated From Cable UPON ARRIVAL". Now I'm concerned if they could get my hood open when they broke the lever and the cable at the time of the oil change and did they actually do my oil change? I took that copy and figure that they did finally realize that it was broken by them and they were going to take care of the problem they created. I went back to work they called me about 5 hours later and said that it was finished. Wes the drive came back to pick me up from work and take me to pick up my truck. (Wes was a great driver and very kind) I went to get my keys and she says its going to be $157 so I asked to talk to Mark or Tom but they had left for the day. So the cashier I think her name was Andrea (she was very kind) had brought over the shift leader that was on duty I think his name was Todd. He was very rude and accused me of stealing. When I walked away from him and went back to the cashier and he yelled at me "If you leave you are stealing" I couldn't believe that he said that! Finally after almost an hour of going back and forth they said that they would take care of the cost. I guess their sign on their door "We Want You Completely Satisfied" is a complete LIE! They broke the hood cable and lever on my truck, didn't tell me, let me drive off the their lot knowing what they did and then tried to make me pay for it. What kind of place does that? NOT ONE I WILL BE BACK TO! You have not only lost me a customer but all of my family and friends that I have told too! More
