I purchased my 2022 Telluride at Shawnee Mission as well as a maintenance plan that was explained to me that it could be used at any Kia dealer. Come to find out after scheduling and having to pay for serv as a maintenance plan that was explained to me that it could be used at any Kia dealer. Come to find out after scheduling and having to pay for service at another dealer after several disappointments with SMK, the plan I purchased was specific to this dealer. As a result, I have to take my Telluride here or pay. I took it in for an oil change, rotate and several warranty related issues. All items under warranty had to have parts ordered so I will have to go back again. After 2.25 hours they said my oil change and rotation was completed and I was good to take my car and wait for a call when needed parts arrive. I got home and went to back into the garage, when I turned back to look behind I noticed that the second row dome light was disassembled and the parts and tools were sitting in the back seat and the light was on. Then I checked my tires which I marked prior to going, as every service I have had there has been suspect. They did NOT rotate my tires but they did charge .8 hours of labor on the paperwork. In addition, when we purchased the 2022 Telluride they told us that the windshields have had issue with cracking and that Kia would normally replace one time. There is also class action lawsuits in several states regarding the windshields, but not my state. My windshield has 2 large cracks, one of the service advisors said wow 2 cracks and looks like there are going to be a couple more, I wouldn’t fix it yet. They put an estimate of $2600 on my paperwork but said that the dealership doesn’t do windshields but the company right across the parking lot does. I like my Kia but SMK is not a dealer or service department that I would recommend to anyone. More
