New Car - tons of AC issues they had to know We bought a 2015 Buick Enclave about 1 year ago. Two months after the purchase the AC on the vehicle went out (vehicle isn't even 4yrs old at the tim We bought a 2015 Buick Enclave about 1 year ago. Two months after the purchase the AC on the vehicle went out (vehicle isn't even 4yrs old at the time). When we called they admitted the vehicle had AC issues when they took in the trade and they just recharged the coolant. They offered to fix the AC issue w/ out charge in October. Needless to say we didn't need to use the AC much in the fall and winter. Fast forward to the following summer and the AC is once again out. This time we took it to another certified Buick dealer. They found almost $2,000 in additional cost to repair the AC. This dealer explained it's not their problem anymore because of the amount of time that passed. The AC didn't get used for 6 to 7 months over the fall and winter so how else does this issue surface in a timely manner. I offered a willingness to share the costs which I feel was a good compromise. Obviously due diligence was not conducted on the complete AC unit. They once again declined. Very disappointed with the experience with this dealer. Buyer beware. More
