As a newcomer to the area, I recently brought my newly purchased GMC Sierra to Sheehan GMC to address a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty item regarding a window reprogramming issue. Because I opted t purchased GMC Sierra to Sheehan GMC to address a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty item regarding a window reprogramming issue. Because I opted to wait at the dealership, I was hoping for a relatively efficient service visit. Ultimately, the mechanical work was performed well and the issue was completely resolved, which I appreciate. However, the experience fell short regarding communication and time management. Despite the dealership knowing I was waiting on a standard service item, the process took nearly four hours. It appeared that staffing rotations for lunch caused unexpected delays, and there was a noticeable lack of proactive communication or urgency regarding the status of my vehicle while I waited. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the repair itself. I plan to give Sheehan GMC another opportunity on my next service appointment to see if the customer communication and transit times improve. More
