I came in for oil change and given an estimate of 1. 5 hours. Set my own timer to 1 hour. And Thomas came to me before it went off. Very pleased by everything. I was working with Ivan and Rich for a couple weeks now. I was finally given number on a lease for a 2026 Mustang GT Premium that I was happy with. I live almost 2 hours and 100 miles round trip from the dealer, so I was waiting until we got within the range I was looking for before making the drive up, and we did, or so I thought. I got there, they had the paper with the numbers on it, we were going to finalize everything until they came back and did the old bait and switch and said the numbers they provided were numbers for an EcoBoost and not the GT Premium. I wasted that time, put those miles on my trade-in, and I thought I was driving away with the new car since the deal was basically already done. Such a waste of time working with those guys when the deal was right there. No honor in their word at all. More

Called to make an appointment for a transmission flush. Richard Schwarz quoted me $275 for the service, and I made the appointment. I dropped the truck off, and went back the next day to pick it up. I was surprised to see the bill was for $336, $60 more than I was quoted. I mentioned this to Richard, and he hemmed and hawed, made weak excuses, and finally admitted he gave me bad info. I agreed to pay the $336, but was quietly fuming. I then noticed that there was only 8 quarts of Mercon ULV charged for on the invoice. The 10R80 transmission takes 13.1. I questioned this, and talked to a tech, ( Tony) , who said that they had "lost the adaptor" to do complete flushes, and they actually did a partial flush of my transmission. So, 5 quarts of old oil is now contaminating my ( very expensive) new oil with bits of clutch lining, bits of swarf from the manufacturing process, etc. I am very disappointed with Shortenkirk Ford of Jasper.
