Sloane Toyota of Glenside reached out to me shortly after I showed online interest in a car that would be delivered to their dealership and we scheduled a test drive for the next day. We walked into the new car building after walking around outside for a bit, we were not greeted nor asked if we needed anything. I stood in the middle of the lobby and asked “does anyone want to sell a car? outside for a bit, we were not greeted nor asked if we needed anything. I stood in the middle of the lobby and asked “does anyone want to sell a car?”. definitely not something I was expecting to ask walking into a dealership….one female worker stated “no not me”… Older gentleman in the first cubicle to the right helped and explained if it’s a used car I’m interested in, to go to the other building. We walk to the used car building and walked in… after a few moments I was greeted by Mr William Maiden who immediately stood up and started walking over to us. He was the only person in the used car building to greet us. Mr Maidens polite candor and kind spirit was the reason we continued with the sale, knowing the commission is going to him. I will say, I won’t recommend people to go to the store unless to work with Mr Maiden. The payment process was smooth, but that’s something you want to run as smooth as possible as the dealer.
