I dropped my car off to have the air bag recall work performed, I found out later that their computer system was down, and had been down for a number of days with no definitive expectation of when it wo performed, I found out later that their computer system was down, and had been down for a number of days with no definitive expectation of when it would be restored. The computer system is required to perform the work. They held my car for an entire day and the work was never performed. Had they been honest and informed me of the situation prior to dropping the car off, I would have rescheduled my appointment for another day. This was a big inconvenience, and I would not recommend going to this dealership; very dishonest. More

The window to the shop floor is postered over so that you can’t see anything going on…what are you hiding?? Used sales manager is a liar. He sold us a 22 Taos that needed rear struts, radio not working, transmission issues and rattling coming from the engine compartment. Service center obviously did not conduct the “multipoint inspection” and said the rattling was acorns when it was an issue with the manifold gasket. All he said when a complaint was made was “it’s a used car, what do you want from me” More

My AC broke down at the worst possible time right in the heatwave. This is bad for my high blood pressure. Thankfully, Smithtown VW service had an appointment that week and was able to help me. My service representative was Jasmine Khan and my technician was Josh. They let me know I needed some new bushings on my control arm too, which is pretty serious. They set me up with a second appointment for an install of all the new parts and somehow rigged my AC to work for the week I had to wait to get time off, VERY appreciated. Jasmine was SUPER helpful and informative updating me about everything. I was able to drop the car off and get a ride home from John, who was great conversation. I got the car back and I am now super frosty for the rest of the summer. Thanks for the hard work and convenience guys. I know who to see when I finally upgrade my Rabbit. More
