I scheduled my appointment for an oil change and inspection. I was called and told there was a ck. Engine light so it wouldn't pass inspection. It would cost $250 to resolve. I told Jasmine there inspection. I was called and told there was a ck. Engine light so it wouldn't pass inspection. It would cost $250 to resolve. I told Jasmine there was no light on, when I dropped it off. She said she would leave inspecyion sticker on. Dropped car off @ 11am told I needed car back @ 3pm. Valet dropped me off at home 1mile away. Got a call car was ready At 3pm took 1hr and a half for valet to pick me up. Got car at 5pm late to my grandsons graduation . There was no ck engine light on. Called and spoke to Jammie in service explained the situation told me to bring in Mon @11am. PS Car passed inspection no ck engine light on.Hope VW is not scamming customers in believing ck engine lights on. When I p/u my car I spoke to Jasmine she said she didnt see light but Mechanic Mike told her it was on. I have had VW cars for 15 yrs. This was rhe worst experience I ever had More

I bought my 2018 Passat SEL from this dealer, and even though there are VW dealers very close to me in Brooklyn, I drive the approximate 50 miles each way to Smithtown Volkswagen for my service. My 201 though there are VW dealers very close to me in Brooklyn, I drive the approximate 50 miles each way to Smithtown Volkswagen for my service. My 2018 warranty has expired, but I drive the approximate 100 miles back and forth to Smithtown Volkswagen because their customer service is far and beyond what I have experienced with any other car dealer. Jamie my customer service rep deserves special mention for his exceptional people skills, and Evan, VW's master mechanic who's knowledge and skill is amazing, and even though he did not work on my Passat this time, greeted me in the service area and took the time to answer the few performance questions I had. My original salesman Adam was off on the Thursday I had my service appointment, otherwise Adam always greets me when I'm there and keeps me informed on what's new, deals, leases, and specials. My Passat is running as good as it did when brand new thanks to Smithtown's excellent care, and I appreciate the TLC that I have received over the years that keeps my Passat reliable and running well. More
