I have been a customer of Smythe Volvo since the early 1960s. It has been a wonderful experience for our family. Probably our 10th car. Upon entering the showroom I received a friendly greeting. I had checked some cars on line and was directed to the salesman who had responded to my e-request. My 20 yr old Volvo 240 wagon needed a slight break (she is being retired to weekend car) and I needed a daily driver sooner than later, but I couldn't see myself owning anything other than a Volvo. I had one main criteria in mind, it had to be a wagon. I shopped around and saw a few cars, but I finally decided on a 2003 v70 in black. Not only was i treated as if i had just bought a brand new car but all of my questions were answered AND when I asked about the timing belt, Steve set it up for me so I could drop off my new wagon that day and he had a loaner car waiting for me. The next afternoon my car was ready!! I was not only amazed but extremely proud to own a Volvo from Smythe. This v70 is now my second Volvo in my "fleet" and the next one we add to our family, will most defiantly come from here. I now know why they are the best Volvo dealership. More

Our experience was simple and easy. I like to call Tom R the least salesy salesman ever (and that is my highest compliment). The XC90 was the last car I test drove...in the snow...and Tom simply handed me t the least salesy salesman ever (and that is my highest compliment). The XC90 was the last car I test drove...in the snow...and Tom simply handed me the keys and said "let me know what you think." As a woman, at other dealers, I had salesman drive FOR me, park FOR me, etc. Tom is extremely accessible as a I changed my mind on a few features we ordered, yet very low touch when we didn't need to do anything but wait. He didn't over sell us on accessories, either, which I appreciate, and gave us a great price to boot! More

I did, in fact, just take delivery of a 2013 XC60 R-Design and of course, the overall experience makes us forget that we were even going through what can often be a trying endeavor -- car buying. The staff are friendly yet not smothering, knowledgeable yet more that willing to listen and most importantly our my case, truly attuned to what we were looking for. So 109313 miles later, back to Smythe Volvo we went and shall remain as long as Volvos are made and Smythe keeps helping folks come to informed buying decisions! More

I had another excellent experience with the service team at Smythe Volvo as my car required significant engine repair and there was no issue with providing me a loaner vehicle for several days. Went in for my 3rd service for my car which is still under warranty. Nick did a good job, even called saying that the rear brakes looked a bit worn and let me know they are replacing them.
