We were in the market for a new car, we loved the look of the 2013 Volvo S60 T5 AWD as well as the safety reputation of Volvo. We went to Smythe since they were highly rated on DealerRater.com as well as Angie's List. Our salesman was Tom Rzasa and he was wonderful to work with, very helpful and explained everything to us. Took his time with us, we never felt rushed, he answered any questions that we had. We took a test drive and loved the car. Tom went over all of the features in the car and helped us pick out a beautiful car that we absolutely love! In addition, we also worked with Alex Kattwinkel who advised us of the additional warranty options available and helped us choose the ones best fitting for our driving needs. Very knowledgeable and very nice to work with. This was the best car-buying experience ever, Tom was so helpful and so nice to work with. To me, this dealership's reputation is based on the professionalism of its service operation. There isn't a person that I haven't worked with and have found everyone to be exceptional. I would definitely recommend Smythe Volvo. This past June, I purchased a certified, pre-owned Volvo from them. The sales consultant I worked with, Steve Sargent, was respectful and courteous – he listened to what I needed and wanted – and didn’t try to pressure sell me by asking the dreaded question “What can we do to make this deal happen today?” The overall experience was great – I was confident that I purchased a great car from a dealer with morals. Unfortunately my car was totaled in hurricane Sandy. I went back to Smythe to replace my car and they could not have been kinder. Every single person I spoke to treated me with courtesy and respect – during a stressful time they were incredibly helpful. Tony, Doug and Brad in service were awesome – they dealt with the assessor sent by the insurance company and as usual, Steve worked to get me outfitted with a fabulous car in a cost-and-time-efficient manner. And, since I had just purchased my first car with them only 5 months prior – the rest of the team remembered me, told me how sorry they were for what I had been through and worked to help me have the best possible experience.
