No call back from service department I purchased a Genesis a few months ago. I noticed that if there is a bump in the road while you are making a right turn you lose the ability to accel I purchased a Genesis a few months ago. I noticed that if there is a bump in the road while you are making a right turn you lose the ability to accelerate for a few seconds (very dangerous when you are making a right turn onto a busy street). More than a month ago, I was told by the service manager that Hyundai was aware of the problem and that they had just released a software update to another model with the same problem (I was told that it had to do with poorly designed software that controls the vehicle stabilization unit) and that there would be a fix for the Genesis in 4-6 weeks and that the dealer would contact me when it was available. I have not heard back from the dealer since then. I have called twice in the last two days and was told that the service department would call me back. I have yet to hear back from them and am forced to live with a car that can lose all power when making a right turn. More

She was patient at the same time because i was having a hard time thinking of the car i wanted. I was having a hard time deciding between the genesis or the sonata. But she showed me the veloster and i instantly felt that it was my car.
