Did not fix my truck correctly and spent over $800 for one injector. Had to take it to another shop to get it diagnosed again. They said the check engine light was on again from a faulty install. Took it back to the dealer and they fixed it but did not pay for my second diagnosis or give a discount on the first install. It took them 2 days to fix it the second time. Did not provide a loaner car and wasted about 8 hours of my time. I am self employed and this mess cost me over 10k in lost revenue. More
Took my 2019 Durango in for a leak in the AC system. I knew before going that there was in fact a leak in my system because you can hear it hissing from inside of the car and the AC was blowing hot air. Took the car in, which is still under extended warranty and was told I’d have to pay a diagnostic fee of $249 but if they find an issue that is covered then I would receive the fee back. The car stayed there for 2 days just for them to tell me there is no issue and the Freon is just low. I’m a car guy and know cats so I knew that was a lie. They proceeded to tell me a recharge is $880+ and tried to sell it by talking about the upcoming weather. I declined because why would I pay all that money just for it to leak out again and have to return. I picked up the car and went on vacation. Come back from vacation and decide to take the car back because like I said I know there is a leak because you can literally hear the gas escaping from somewhere. They made me an appt for the following Monday at 7:30 am in which I dropped the car off and was called in less than 2 hours saying hey we found a leak in the condenser. I told them that from the beginning!!! I know cars and I research before I take my cars in. I know the Durango and the Jeep Cherokee has a known issue of faulty condensers and it makes that hissing sound when there’s a leak as well. They did fix it so I do have AC now but I am very disappointed in my experience. This fault should have been taken care of on my first visit. What if I was a dummy like most that bring their cars there and get messed over and then I’d be out of $249 plus the $880 for recharge and still be without AC days or weeks later. I paid the $100 easy care deductible but I also should have my $250 back because there’s no way they actually checked my AC system for leaks and why was it there for 2 days to find no leak but then they find a leak in less than 2 hours.
