Very disappointed with my most recent visit. I had brought my Sorrento in for new tires and to address a factory recall. At the time I was told you did not have the correct part to affected repa I had brought my Sorrento in for new tires and to address a factory recall. At the time I was told you did not have the correct part to affected repair and we would have to return when the part arrived. Soon after a warning light came on the dash and we tried to schedule an appointment but were told we couldn’t be seen for over two months. Not wanting to cause any damage to the car we were forced to pay another service center $100 to read the warning code. We were told that the code corresponded to a recall on the vehicle and we should have it seen by the dealer as soon as possible. We made an appointment specifically to have the recall addressed. We were told that the part arrived and we should bring the car in for the scheduled appointment. I arranged for transportation from the dealership to work and dropped off the car. I received a call late that afternoon notifying me that you did not have the special tool that is required to fix the recall.and the car could not be fixed at that time We were told we would be called to set another appointment to bring the car in once the tool arrived but to date that hasn’t happened. We have been loyal Southern customers having bought our last three new vehicles from you. Until recently, I have been very satisfied with the service department. Thanks for listening. More
