Dealing with Sports Mazda was absolutely a blessing in disguise as I have attempted to trade in my 2004 Mazda RX-8 for over 2 years now. My car was currently in their service dept for a third engine repl disguise as I have attempted to trade in my 2004 Mazda RX-8 for over 2 years now. My car was currently in their service dept for a third engine replacement, bad coils and a ton of other things when Barby reached out to me via an email asking if I was looking to trade in my RX-8 which I figured was a complete waste of my time again. I replied with the answer of yes of course and within minutes, Barby called me to discuss my options and situation. From having excellent credit just 4 years ago to pretty much crap credit score of below 500 now due to medical reasons and the economy in general, I figured again this would be impossible but 3 days later on a Saturday, I agreed to come in and discuss. Three hours later, I walked out with a brand new 2011 Mazda 3 car which I am in heaven expecting to wake up any day now. It has been a week and I can tell you if you have ever dealt with a dealership and felt left out or let down, dont give up. Call Barby personally at Sports Mazda and you will be amazed as her customer service and willingness to help you out regardless of the situation. This day, I had a very important meeting to attend over 20 miles away and it was 4pm when I had to leave, travel back home which was 30 min way to retrieve my checkbook for the down payment. Barby, realizing my situation of the meeting calls me in route to my house and offers to meet me at the meeting location to pick up the check and save me a trip back to the dealership. Everything from service/detailing to providing a full tank of gas to just calling to check up on me blew me away! I walked out with a higher than expected interest rate of 12.24% but wait it gets better! That following Monday, Barby again reaches out to me and says her finance manager did another favor and got me an incredible 6.24% rate!! Who does this anymore! Again, completely surprised, I cannot tell enough people about the service I received. I told myself after what I went through with the 04 Mazda I would never shop with them again...I shopped at another Mazda in Longwood, Florida for that piece of crap 2004 but Sports Mazda proved it was about the customer, not the dealership. We were a little apprehensive in trying to finance a vehicle with our credit situation. From the very start Michael Ross, the sales consultant and Dan Parker, the sales Manager put us at ease. Mr. Ross was VERY patient with us and very straight forward. We really enjoyed Mr Ross's patience, perserverance, knowledge and personality (great sense of humor). Woody Rader, the Finance Director was extremely helpful and friendly as well. There is no doubt in our minds that we will purchase our next vehicle and refer all of our friends to Michael, Dan and Woody at Don Mealy's Sport Mazda. More
i went to the Orlando dealership to just look around. I was very pleased with the assistance I got from David. He was very informative and very knowledgeable on the car I was looking to purchase. Things were explained to me fully and the time spent on all paperwork was minimal. I was also suprized that he contacted me at home the next day to make sure all was ok with my purchase. I would recommend this dealership to family and friends look to purchase a new or used vehicle. More

For my incredibly detail-oriented mind, he didn't seem to mind explaining (sometimes in layman's terms) exactly what was what. They worked with me on my budget, even giving advice that didn't seem typical of a dealership to give -- advice that benefited me! I haven't (and hopefully won't for awhile) had a chance to visit the guys in the Service Center, but I can say every person I encountered in the Sales arm of this place was welcoming and willing to do anything to make sure I was happy. I would definitely recommend Sports Mazda!! More
My husband and I came in to get a car as we were in a bad jam. We had gotten into an accident in our only working vehicle. I hate car salesmen because they only look out for themselves. When we came to see Farid, He talked to the bank on our behalf and got us an alright deal on a Mazda 3 hatchback. I asked if we could have something else because I really didn't want a hatchback, so I was really disappointed about that. I wish we could have been given a choice about which car to take. Farid said that was all we could get as first time buyers which I absolutely did not believe. I know that we could have had a choice. That was the only car they WANTED to give us. Also we were not offered gap insurance which we know if available for us. I wish Farid would have been more truthful with us about what we were qualified for and more truthful about the options we had. He told us we could get into the car we bought and maintain the payments for about 6 months, then if we want to trade it in, we could to get lower payments. That isn't completely true. Could we trade it in? Yes. If we do, the amount we got financed on would just be added on to the new car amount which would eventually make us upside down on the new vehicle. I am however grateful that Farid worked with us and our situation. He was willing to go above and beyond. The guy who we signed papers with, I think the finance manager, didn't seem trustworthy at all. He was in a rush, didn't really want to let us read papers, and just wanted us to sign on the dotted line. My husband and I felt really uncomfortable with him. And when he is asked something, he evades the question and doesnt really want to explain anything. More
My overall experience with this dealer was great. I did like the fact that people were not in a hurry and were able to sit down and have a fair conversation. I also liked that when I mentioned something that I was curious to find out, they were able to go back to the manager and have a word on our behalf and was very practical about it. I would recommend someone give them a try, and talk to Vitcot as he remembers you and you will have an easy time to talk your talk. More
