They will try to charge yo Do not buy a car from St Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Please avoid this dealership at all costs. This place is a scam! They will try to charge you an outrageous amount of interest for a car loan & get a huge down payment even if you have excellent credit. Also, do not let them run your credit report. They ran my credit on three separate occasions today, even though I only authorized them to run it one time. I now have to get these two fraudulent hard enquiries removed from my credit report. I wish I had never called them about a car. This place sucks. I spoke with a representative named Leila on the phone early this morning about a car they had for sell. I told Leila I had already been pre-approved for a car loan through my credit union. Leila immediately said they only do in-house financing. 🚩I should have hung up right then & there, but against my better judgment I proceeded. I permitted Leila to run my credit report one time because she said they would try to match the interest rate I had been approved for elsewhere. I have a credit score of 800, make over $100,000, pay my bills on time, & have long-term employment. So, I figured they could give me a decent interest rate on a car loan. I also spoke with the finance guy at their dealership, named Ash Holy on the phone after I completed the online loan application. Ash commented that I was “a rock star”. 🚩🙄 I thought for sure they would be able to get me a decent loan based on my credit score & other stability factors. Nope! Leila then called me a short time later & offered me approval for a car loan through them with a 10% interest rate over 5 years. She was talking fast to try to get me locked into a bad deal. I immediately stopped her & told her that’s ridiculous, especially given to my credit profile & other factors. She immediately countered, reading some script she had saying, “Well, you know the national car loan average is 5-7%.”. I said exactly. So why would I pay your dealership 10? I told her no. Leila texted me later on offering me a 7.99% interest rate & $3,500 down for 60 months. I again said no. Needless to say I did not get a car from here, which is a good thing especially considering how they run their business. Unfortunately, I now have three new hard inquiries on my credit report from this dealership that tried to rip me off. I think St Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram tries to prey on people with a lack of understanding about car loan interest rates. They try to give you an outrageous interest rate to make extra money off people. That’s why they don’t do outside financing. It’s so they can scam people. Thankfully, I own three other vehicles & will go elsewhere for my next car purchase. I will work with a trustworthy dealership in the near future that is on the up & up. Not a bunch of no-good scammers. More
I am extremely disappointed in this dealership. I bought a 2021 Acura ILX last year at St Charles cdjr dealership. I purchased a almost 4500 dollar aftermarket full bumper to bumper warranty. Including the engine and transmission, just to find out that headlights are not covered. After I bought it, within about a month I took it in twice for a headlight issue, they looked at it they said everything was fine I still have the ongoing issue which is deteriorating over time turns out I would have to have both headlights replaced and the aftermarket warranty company is not going to cover the claim. It is not just a simple bulb . It is the whole headlight assembly, driver and passenger side headlights. The warranty company will not approve the claim and it would be almost $4400.00 to replace both headlights with the labor. I got back to the St. Charles CDJR dealership and I explained to them the situation, and they are just giving me the runaround. I spoke with the GM, the GM's assistant, and the BCM assistant. I wound up taking the vehicle to an Acura dealership. Their technicians said that there is a problem with the headlamps. I wound up spending $219 for a diagnostic fee because the warranty company would not approve the claim. St Charles cdjr dealership is not doing anything about it. Besides giving me the runaround. I was supposed to go in tomorrow to have them do a complimentary inspection for the vehicle. I am not going to go tomorrow. I am tired of the runaround. I believe the dealership knew the headlights were faulty to start with. I am very disappointed in this dealership. More

With the help of multiple employees here I was able to make a vehicle purchase quick and painless. My current vehicle had been totaled out from an accident and upon finding the vehicle I wanted they quick make a vehicle purchase quick and painless. Bc they are an hour from me they were understanding of the later arrival time and Frank, my salesman, even picked me up from the car rental place. Not only was the vehicle just as promised, the paperwork was already prepped and ready to go, the manager was super helpful in finalizing numbers and warranty’s, and Sam the other manager made the entire experience amazing with a ring of the bell, well wishes, and a promise of excellent care going forward and I believe him to the max.
