Words like "amazing, relaxed, ethical, Premier, first class, no pressure, genuine, sincere, kind" all come to mind when trying to explain the car buying experience at Sting old Volvo. It really is a family affair and you feel it throughout the entire experience. Michael Bernado was phenomenal. They stayed late to accommodate our work schedule, answered all of our questions, thoroughly explained the features of the vehicle and was able to demonstrate how they worked. There was none of that traditional "let me see what my manager can do for you nonsense". Straightforward awesome experience. We will absolutely be back in the future. 3 1/2 hours for routine service. I brought my 2013 XC90 in for warranty services on 8/9/16 for a 20,000 mile oil change and tire rotation, and to replace a missing T valve on the righ I brought my 2013 XC90 in for warranty services on 8/9/16 for a 20,000 mile oil change and tire rotation, and to replace a missing T valve on the right side windshield washer. While the vehicle was in, Steingold performed recall service to replace the spare tire winch cable. I arrived on-time for my 9:00 AM appointment. The vehicle didn't go in for service until 9:30 AM - no explanation given. The service took 3 1/2 hours. In my estimation, an oil change should not take longer than 30 minutes, a tire rotation and wheel balance not more than one hour, and 20 minutes to replace the T valve. Allowing for the 30 minute delay in getting my vehicle to service, the total service time, conservatively, should not have been longer than 2 hours - the service receipt did not indicate the "hour"s required for the services. Perhaps the manufacturer's standard service time to repair spare tire cable 1 1/2 hours, Had Steingold advised me that the service would take 3 1/2 hours, I would have made other arrangements. My previous service experiences at Steingold were good. Maybe this latest experience was an abnormality - they seemed to be overwhelmed with phone calls and service arrangements. I would recommend Steingold for warranty service, but I would advise Volvo owners to ask how long the service will take when making an appointment. More

Steingold is a family owned dealership and brothers Michel and Stephen will go out of their way to make your purchase a great experience. Steingold even found a way to register my new car in Texas (w/ Texas tags) which is my home of record for the military. This saved me both money and the hassle of having redoing all my registration paperwork. Moreover, their possitive attitude and no pressure sales approach is unmatched. I stopped at two other RI Volvo dealerships and often felt like I was bothering them with my questions/visits. Steingold has changed my car buying experience! I worked with Stephen during this sale and he was patient as we discussed the details of the purchase. He let me test drive the new car multiple times (without him in the car) over multiple days and simply said to "just let (him) know" when I'm ready to make a decision. After a couple of days, I finally decided to buy the car. Stephen had the paperwork filled out quickly without the standard high pressure warranty/sales pitch in the finance office. When we were filling out the paperwork we noticed that the suscription for Volvo On-call was only 6 - months. We had previously agreed to a 1 year subscription; Stephen simply opened his wallet and pulled out his personal credit card and extended the service to 1.5 years to ensure he delivered to the terms of the agreement. Just when I thought they couldn't do anything more to show their level of commitment to their customers, they did! Michael spent over an hour with me making sure I was comfortable with every detail of the car and the features it offered. From start to finish it was an A+ service. I never thought I would say this about a car dealership... I trust them. That's a pretty odd feeling to have when you finish buying a car, but now that they have my trust they've also gained a new/future customer. Make this your first stop when you're ready to buy your next car and I promise you won't be disappointed. More
