I walked in, the car had just been shined up and pulled into the showroom. I took it for a ride myself, brought it back, talked numbers for a few minutes. (By "talking numbers" I mean I was pleasantly surprised their price was lower than I expected so there was no need to negotiate) I went home to get the title of my trade in and when I got back they were done with the paperwork and the car was shined up again. All in all, best dealership experience I've ever had. More

Traded a car for an S60 I was in a pickle. I bought a Mazda at a dealer other than Steingold. I was not happy with car. I wanted out of the car and wanted to buy a Volvo. Whi I was in a pickle. While I was upside down on my loan, Michael showed me the best way to buy a different car and be able to roll the loan into the new purchase. After talking over the purchase and refinance options, Michael presented me with an awesome deal. From that point it was quick and easy and I am now driving the car of my dreams an S60 with the new 2.0 turbo that gets great gas mileage. I was very impressed with the great customer service and awesome help Michael provided. I could tell, it was not just a guy trying to sell a car. He is a person who understands his customers needs and fulfills them. When my wife is ready for a new car, Steingold will be the first stop and probably the only place we will need to go. More

Overall, it is always a positive experience dealing with the Bernardo family at Steingold. Our most recent experience was a win-win for us and the dealership. We spotted a trade-in that had just hit their garage, when having my wife's car serviced. We expressed our interest and were able to try it before it was formally put up for sale. Essentially, we got first dibs on a car that my wife had been seeking and the dealership saved its advertising costs. More

Excellent experience at Steingold This review is long overdue and I was reminded of the need to complete this process in looking back at emails from my vehicle purchase in August 2014. This review is long overdue and I was reminded of the need to complete this process in looking back at emails from my vehicle purchase in August 2014. Once I narrowed down the type of vehicle I was searching for (Volvo xc60) I searched for pricing within a 50 mile range of Providence, RI. Steingold came out on top and I figured there had to be a catch. Skeptical, I visited the dealership unannounced to search for the two vehicles between which I was debating. I assumed id be comforted by an aggressive salesperson while on the lot. This was not the case. In fact, I went in to the (clean inviting and impressive) dealership and asked for assistance. I was assisted by Michael Bernardo. He was fantastic to work with- from helping me decide on the right vehicle, to reviewing my trade and setting up reasonable financing (I work at a bank and receive a slight employee discount- he was even able to beat this). Overall, it was an excellent experience. I will absolutely return to Steingold. Thank you to Michael and the entire team. More
