Will not be stepping on this lot ever again. My wife, son and I were going from dealership to dealership around the Van Dyke-18-mile area this morning to check out the fit of some of the vehicles My wife, son and I were going from dealership to dealership around the Van Dyke-18-mile area this morning to check out the fit of some of the vehicles. My wife's lease of her truck will be running out soon. The new car salesman we dealt with was friendly and helpful, but with 2 teenagers who have cars we are helping with, a used car was the most likely way we were going to have to go. We wandered the used lot for a little while, and found a Silverado we were interested in test driving. Kevin Derby approached us, asked when my wife's lease was up (August) and said "It will not be here then" and walked away. If he would have taken the time to talk to us some more, we would have told him that we may be turning it early, and that after walking the lot I was considering giving my car to our third child, and was considering getting a used car for myself (my car has 122,000 miles and is 7 years old). If the man would have had some common courtesy, I would not be discouraging my friends from ever going to this dealership. You only get 1 chance to make a first opinion, and Kevin sure gave us a poor one. More
