After telling Kimberly Alvarado that we wanted to buy a Smart Cabriolet ForTwo on Friday night before the dealership closed, we made an appointment to see the car right as the dealership opened Saturday morning. We waited for videos, etc., Saturday morning and told Kimberly we wanted to buy the car multiple times and asked them to give us the financing or cash options, plus tax/title/license, giving them our DL, etc. That information was submitted to us. We again said we wanted the car. Somehow someone else waltzed into the dealership much later than us and they sold the car to them instead of us. Wow! My husband and I have 800+ credit ratings. Kimberly was so slow to move that we lost the car to another salesperson on their lot. This is shockingly bad customer service. Maybe she did us a favor. I have read Steve Hahn's auto group reviews online and they are terrible. The customer service is indicated as terrible, too, and now WE JUST EXPERIENCED THAT. I'm shocked. Lol. Appallingly bad. These people act just like sleazy used car dealerships. No integrity. Multiple people online indicate buying cars from Steve Hahn that were LEMONS that had hidden problems and multiple repairs that needed to be done. I don't know about the veracity of those posts, but I do know that any dealership that would sell off a car with a customer indicating they would like to buy it has no integrity and, more importantly, no kindness. The repair for corner light on car was repaired partially without the plastic trim and we had to take time out of our busy work lives to return to have it repaired properly and it should have been inspected without the plastic trim and we had to take time out of our busy work lives to return to have it repaired properly and it should have been inspected prior to our taking it home. We were also charged an additional $70. More
