After looking over the records for this four year old Nissan Versa here is what I was able to track down. It was sold with less than 42k miles at the end of July 2010. The price agreed on by the customer and signed off on was the same price as what the customer paid. Customer complained that the state of Virginia charges tax on vehicles sold also noted in the file. Even though this vehicle was more than four years old we went over and above to help this customer out when a few chips where found in the paint nearly three weeks after the sale. Customer did not return to the dealer to address anything other than paint chips. No issues with exhaust were noted in the file at all.

Paint chips? They weren't paint chips, it was RUST. We addressed it at the time of sale, NOT 3 weeks later. Dealership argued with us for 3 weeks. We ended up taking the car to our auto body shop 45 mins away to confirm that it was rust, then returned back to dealership with the report. Dealership fixed it ONLY because we required it be in our contract "all rust will be removed". A week later when dealership called back to say it was repaired, we went to pick up and it wasn't. I think they just took it for a week hoping we'd forget. We ended up leaving the car again to actually get the rust removed. The second time around proved just as bad. It still wasn't removed. Left it for a third time, and told theme we'd be taking the loaner car for our beach vacation, miraculously it was fixed the right way, before our trip.
