Slow, incompetent, can't communicate, terrible customer service. We had a scheduled appointment at 9 am for a oil change and for paint touch up as well as 2 recalls, when arrived we stood waiting for 30 mi service. We had a scheduled appointment at 9 am for a oil change and for paint touch up as well as 2 recalls, when arrived we stood waiting for 30 minutes before we got any help to drop off the car and get our rental. Worker acted as if there was no mention of a rental but retrieved one, rental was dirty on the inside and needed to be vacuumed and its own oil changed. Later in the day we were notified that the car was done and when we went to retrieve it and took a look to see the paint work and saw nothing had been done and when brought up to Anthony he stated that we had to talk to the guy that was taking care of the VIP service. He was finishing up with another customer at that time so we had to wait about 20 minutes for him to come back and finish up to just be told that the service wasn't even in there, even though this has been scheduled with the oil change, recalls and paint touch ups to all be done today and picked up for about a month now. We were told the reason it wasn't done is because both departments that were responsible for those 3 repairs DONT COMMINICATE. We live in Evanston, WY and it is a planned trip when we come down here and will not be back in salt lake for the next 6 months due to a job and this was wanted to be taken care of before we left. The situation would've been more understandable if the service we were shown even remotely felt like we were cared for or that the company even wanted anyone's business. The workers seemed as if they didn't want to be there, didn't want to help customers, and didn't bother to communicate with other workers to ensure we were taken care of instead of just ignoring us until the last minute and acting inconvenienced that they had to do work. Overall I'm very unsatisfied with this service as no real apologies or anything was done other then "we can get it done the next time you're in." We will definitely not recommend strong volkswagon to anyone to purchase or service a vehicle from you guys as I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with such services. More
I recently purchased a new vehicle from Strong Volkswagen, and it was the easiest vehicle I have ever bought. The people I worked with were awesome, very accommodating, professional. Hands down the best buying experience! The sales team is amazing and are so helpful. Any time friends or family are wanting to purchase a car, I will always tell them to go to Stong! Great customer service. Tristan was great. Purchasing the car was very simple and not stressful. Tristan was upfront with the price of the car. Tristan was great. Purchasing the car was very simple and not stressful. Tristan was upfront with the price of the car. More
The steering light came on red, with the steering slightly harder to turn - VW Strong‘s verbal diagnosis over the phone and after checking the car was „Your rack and pinion is dead“. When asked what slightly harder to turn - VW Strong‘s verbal diagnosis over the phone and after checking the car was „Your rack and pinion is dead“. When asked what the specific issue was (the car was still driving pertty close to perfect), I was told that the entire rack and pinion assembly was destryoyed and needed urgent replacment for a cost of $ 3,500. Being naturally suspicious after Strong mounted too small rear brake pads on the vehicle about three years ago, and, when I complained and wanted the correct ones mounted, being denied such with the excise that those do fit (they covered only 75% of the width of the rotor, which wven a total laysman would recognize), I took the car bak and brought it to Burt Brothers in Park City. And voila - they figured that an animal had eaten theough a cable to the electric steering support motor - they fixed it for 1/2 hour of labor cost ($82), and replaced the rear rotors and brake pads WITH THE CORRECT SIZE for $ 80 less than Stong had estimated. I just picked up the car this afternoon - it drives perfectly well. Dear VW Strong, you won‘t see us again, especially when it comes to purchasing 2 new cars in the near future. More
