Dealership is new and clean, but the service tech expertise is questionable. Bought a brand new Outback and a few days later the AC went out. Took it in and they kept the car for 3 days. Told me that it was only low on Freon and they topped it off. (3 days to tell me that) A few days later it was out again. Took it to a different dealer and they found a leak within an hour and successfully repaired. More

Service check-in was quick and easy. Service advisor Tuan Nguyen was helpful, and when it was determined that we would have to leave our Impreza overnight, he arranged for a loaner vehic Service advisor Tuan Nguyen was helpful, and when it was determined that we would have to leave our Impreza overnight, he arranged for a loaner vehicle at no charge. The vehicle inspection phase was thorough, and NO "high-pressure" for services we did not need or desire. Very satisfied as a long-time patron of Subaru of Gwinnett. BTW...purchased a new 2023 Forester Limited the following week - Blake Henley was great to work with! More

I brought my vehicle for service thinking there might be a leak in the A/C. (On a long road trip to FL, the passenger's left side floor board area was soaked. However, it had partially dried by the time I a leak in the A/C. (On a long road trip to FL, the passenger's left side floor board area was soaked. However, it had partially dried by the time I was able to get it into the shop.) The service dept kept the car for 9 days and told me they couldn't replicate the problem. I was told they drove the car around as well. It wasn't until I got home that I actually read the repair work papers and it looked like they drove the car through the car wash several times to replicate the issue. Only, I know the cold water on the passenger side board didn't come in due to rain/outside water. I'm trusting they took apart the area needed to see the A/C unit, in order to see if there was a puncture or loose hose. Right now, when I get out of my car, I'm constantly checking the passenger side to feel if it is damp. Also, when I was given the loaner car, I was told I could bring the vehicle back without having to refuel it, as long as it wasn't empty. However, when I returned the loaner car, Hailey let me know that if it wasn't a full tank of gas then I would be charged and the cost for that is usually pretty high. Thus, I had to leave the shop/dealership to go and fill up the tank and then return it again. The other frustration I had was a feeling of a lack of communication. I was constantly looking at the link that allowed me to see what the progress of my car was at. The status of my car sat in "Inspection" for several days. So, I called in to see what was going on with my car. That is when I was told they were going to have their master mechanic also look at the car since they couldn't replicate the problem. I was fine with that. But then, I noticed the status of my car sat in "Final Touches" for several days. When I first noticed it was in Final Touches, I figured I'd be receiving a call soon to come and get it, but I didn't. Once again, I had to call and inquire about the status. With that call, I had to let them know if the car wasn't completed soon, I'd have to wait a day to come and get it since I had to head into work. They said that would be fine. I called the following day, when I didn't hear back the prior day, only for them to say, I could come and get the car, but they couldn't replicate the issue. They did let me know they updated the software so it wouldn't take as long for the apple CarPlay to load. I'm giving a 3 star rating since the staff was professional, but I was disappointed that it took this service department 9 days to tell me they couldn't replicate the problem. When I brought the car in, even Haley mentioned she could feel dampness on the side panel carpet section. I bought this vehicle less than 4 months ago and it has been in the service department twice. Both times I was told they couldn't replicate the problem. I'm really hoping I don't have any other issues with my new car, but I'm starting to have my doubts and am worried that if I bring it in again, you'll hold onto my car for another week and once again give me the news of, we couldn't replicate the problem.
