Less than ideal My 2010 Forester was experiencing dashboard issues. Various lights would go off and on. It took a while for a plan to be made. A loaner was provided and I am hopeful the repair is the end of the problem. More

This was corrected, but the car had a very strong smell like gas. I returned the car after driving about2 miles. I was told that a solvent had been used to clean up the oil and to use the cabin air rather than the AC, that the odor would diminish. After driving about 100 miles the odor seemed to increase and was sickening. I returned last Saturday, the engine was power washed and the cabin air filter was changed. None of this would have happened if the oil change had been done correctly, but it was a rough experience to go through, somewhat offset by your care and courtesy. More

It had been replaced the week before I went to this dealer, so there is no way I needed one. I've heard that many disreputable service shops will often try to replace that item when it's not needed, but I certainly didn't expect that from a Subaru dealer's service center. When I went to pick up my car, the price I was given was well above the quote I had been told on the phone. After telling Neil the price was wrong, he quickly made some adjustments on his computer and gave me a new printout with the correct amount due. I don't have the two printouts to compare side-by-side, but his fast adjustment seemed fishy at the time (how could he make the adjustments so fast to get the price where it should have been, and what if I hadn't caught the error?). He's a fast talker, and I felt like he tried to rush me through every encounter. I'm sure he ends up selling services to people that they really don't need because he pushes too fast and too aggressively, and some people might not question or remember the details like I did. I took detailed notes of everything I agreed to have them do, and I knew what the final price should have been. More
Great service department I purchased a 2019 Subaru Forester from another Atlanta dealership. After less than 2 weeks of owning the vehicle, I was noticing a rattling sound co I purchased a 2019 Subaru Forester from another Atlanta dealership. After less than 2 weeks of owning the vehicle, I was noticing a rattling sound coming from the driver's side area near the speaker. I originally took the car to another dealership who told me that the rattling sound "wasn't a big deal" and that they'd have to take the entire car apart to try to see where the noise was coming from. Immediately leaving that dealership I drove to Subaru of Gwinnett. Within 5 minutes, the Assistant Service Manager, Shaun Feltner, was able to identify the problem and within 15-20 minutes the problem was fixed and a new replacement part was ordered for the car. Subaru of Gwinnett will now always have my business for any service or maintenance requests since they were willing to take the time to help me and find a solution right away. I'm really glad I didn't accept the diagnosis from the first dealership I went to. More
