It has been sitting in the same spot the entire time. I have been promised my vehicle would be done 5times, only to call for confirmation and told another 2+weeks. My service advisor Jil Thurston always takes at least a week to return calls if at all, and has admitted I am being screwed over. My vehicle is rotting and rusting sitting in their lot due to the extensive and unreasonable wait. More

Jill and her team are honest, intelligent, friendly and knowledgeable. When my rear brakes were replaced a few weeks ago, I discovered that my emergency brake would no longer engage. I called Jill and she told me to bring it back in whenever I could. I did and they took care of adjusting it no problem. They do what they say they will do and in a timely manner. They go above and beyond every time to make sure I know everything about my car and what needs to be done and when. Jill, especially, always makes me feel like a family member, and that is why, when I get a new "used" car in a few months, I will come back to Subaru of Gwinnett, even though I could find a good car for less elsewhere. I trust SOG. SOG is incredibly lucky to have Jill, Mike, Harris, Willis, and Nelson on its' team. More

Jill and Trina gave me their time as another dealership had not gone over some of my car's features nor what I had purchased with the extended service plan. I did not have a service but now feel confident had not gone over some of my car's features nor what I had purchased with the extended service plan. I did not have a service but now feel confident that I have found an exceptional dealership to bring my new car to! They both took the time to answer all my questions and were extremely informative about my service needs and went thru all of the features of the car that I was not sure about. I look forward to enjoying my new Subaru more now that I have found a dealership that clearly cares about customer service! More
I purchased my Outback from SOG when I lived in Gwinnett and was pleased with the service I received. I subsequently moved to Decatur and have had the opportunity to visit a newly opened Subaru dealer very and was pleased with the service I received. I subsequently moved to Decatur and have had the opportunity to visit a newly opened Subaru dealer very close to my house for service. I went there twice and will not return. The level of courtesy and professionalism at SOG is so far superior to that of the dealership near my home that I now drive the extra miles to patronage SOG when I can be confident that the work will be done correctly at a fair price. Thank you. More
We drove down to Atlanta to buy a used Forester, and just to be on the safe side, we took the vehicles we were considering to Gwinnett Subaru for pre-purchase inspections. They found two hidden problems on o to be on the safe side, we took the vehicles we were considering to Gwinnett Subaru for pre-purchase inspections. They found two hidden problems on one, both of them in the very earliest stages, but which would have cost us over $3500 to repair had we bought the car. Which we didn't. On the other car, they did an extremely thorough job, even taking us back and putting the car back up on the lift so they could show us every single detail. The tech, Terry, was very knowledgeable, personable, and patient, and answered every question we had - plus a few we hadn't thought of, even to the point of accurately guessing how close to the ocean the car had lived, based on the amount of rust relative to the age and mileage. We came away feeling completely confident that not a single bolt on that car had been overlooked. The service advisor, Jill, was the person with whom we had the most contact on both days, and I can not imagine any customer service person representing the dealership better than she did. This woman knows Subarus, period. I don't believe there is a single thing that can go wrong with a Subaru that she hasn't seen before and knows when she sees it again. We talked for well over an hour altogether, and the woman is a veritable Subaru encyclopedia. If we lived in Atlanta, or anywhere near it, they would be my service dealership just because of her, because I am completely confident that nothing would slip past her. Excellent person to deal with as well. It's rare to meet someone who so completely masters every aspect of their job the way she seems to. If Jill and Terry are an indication of what kind of people Gwinnett Subaru hires and trains, you don't need to go to any other dealership for your Subaru needs. You could not be in better hands. More
I showed up without an appointment at this dealership in a Saturday morning after another dealership gave me a hard time getting an appointment, asmif I was troubling them. I was greeted immediately with co a Saturday morning after another dealership gave me a hard time getting an appointment, asmif I was troubling them. I was greeted immediately with courtesy and assured my car would be attended to promptly. Mybcar had and A/C issue and a recall item. Jill kept me informed of what was wrong and the progress. I was very pleased. This dealership is further away from me than another but, this is where I will go because they actually treat you like they care about your car and your business. More
I purchased a brand new impreza WRX in August 2012. At 9k miles the engine started making a tapping noise so i took it to the dealership. here is what happened: first of all it took them a full week to 9k miles the engine started making a tapping noise so i took it to the dealership. here is what happened: first of all it took them a full week to even call us with any information about the car, and they immediately started accusing me of tuning the car and racing it when the only thing i had done to the car was replace the stock muffler with magnaflow exhaust. they said that had nothing to do with what went wrong with the engine. Then, they tried telling me that the oil filter and oil was never changed and that the warranty as voided because of that. so what happened with all that stuff about me tuning the engine? but that is besides the point... because i took the car to get the oil changed at 3000 miles and I showed them the reciept i had for doing that. Herb Hoffman was the man we were in communication with during all this and after constantly accusing us of things that were not true. even if the oil filter was not changed, how would the engine blow up at 9000 miles? You would think they would stand behind their product enough to fix it with no problem since it is under warranty. More

I purchased my car here in 2004 and, with the exception of my three years in Utah), have never and will never take my car anywhere else. Over the years, I have become friends with Jill, and consider myself of my three years in Utah), have never and will never take my car anywhere else. Over the years, I have become friends with Jill, and consider myself lucky for that. She is incredibly warm and friendly, and very knowledgeable in this industry. Last week, while on my way to the hospital for my father's heart surgery, my car started sputtering, loosing power, and the check engine light kept coming on. I pulled over and called Jill, told her what was happening, and took her advise to bring the care in. After calling AAA, I called Jill back to let her know that my car was being towed in. When the we got there, Jill and Harris were literally waiting for me. Harris asked me what was wrong, jumped up onto the truck bed to start the car and take a listen. He immediately told me that my fear that it was the timing belt (since it was loosing power) was probably wrong and that it sounded like it was misfiring - most likely a spark plug issue. Since they new the rush I was in, he took my car straight back with no waiting. While this was happening, Alyssa, having overheard my concern about it being the timing belt, look up my records and let us know that I had just had it replaced within the last year (she had also overheard me say I couldn't remember if I had replaced it or not). Within the hour, Harris had replaced the sparkplugs and connections, and my car was driving again. I had several bad experiences with the Decatur dealership and with some of the ones in Utah, but Jill and her team have never been anything other than spectacular. I will continue to bring my car here for as long as I can, and if my next car is a Subaru (which it likely will be), I will once again use Subaru of Gwinnett. More
