There are no mind games and methods of intimidation, pressure, or manipulation that I have experienced at other car dealerships in Jacksonville. My daughter and I made an appointment to see Mark Minter. When we arrived Mark was finishing up with another customer so a friendly lady (sorry I forget her name) helped us until Mark was ready and the lady turned us over to him. There were no buzzards fighting over us. Mark was helpful and knowledgeable... and patient with husband's constant phone calls to us! My daughter pretty much knew what she wanted and when it came time to do the financing our loan was rejected because of my low credit score (due to our business suffering in the recession). But Anita Clarkson, the financing specialist, saved the day. She suggested my daughter lease a car. I have heard horror stories about leasing and was not down with it at all. But Anita, in her very sweet way, explained how leasing from Subaru was not a bad thing, and could actually help me rebuild my credit as my daughter's cosigner. She recommended to her own children and nieces and nephews to cosign. Since everyone wants the best for their kids and relatives I believed this could be the good option she assured me it was. And now my daughter is driving a new Subaru to work and back, college and back, and relieved her old clunker has been retired! Thank you, Mark and Anita! More

Perfect experience! I had never owned a Subaru, but was really interested in a late model used Forester. I went to another dealership in the area that had one, but I real I had never owned a Subaru, but was really interested in a late model used Forester. I went to another dealership in the area that had one, but I really felt like they didn't want to sell it to me! They wouldn't let me drive it or give me a price. Instead, they told me that it would be more expensive than a new Subaru and had me drive a new model. I emailed Josh Strickland about a used model at SOJax that evening and met with Juan Hernandez the next day to drive it. It was a great experience! Juan spent lots of time with me showing me all the features of the Forester I went to see and helped me decide between the Forester and Outback based on my comfort and needs. I was completely happy with the price of the vehicle that Josh helped arrange through the internet service and all of the financing and paperwork was smooth and pleasant with Anita. I especially liked that she was able to arrange financing through Vystar from the dealership. More

Anita was extremely knowledgeable and fast, she had everything ready to go and the process was just as pleasant as the previous. Again, there was never any pressure to purchase any addons, but the options were made available. From start to finish I was on the property for about 3 hours, including test drive, negotiation and finance. The people are what really make this a great dealership. I did not plan for my vehicle that was 14 years old to develop serious ignition issues overnight. After trying an easy fix I still had issues which prompted me to call Jerry to let him know I was on my way to see him. I arrived with my limping car with my wife trailing me all the way for my safety since my car could not go over 50 MPH. I was not comfortable not having my finance not already in place to purchase but for some reason I was not worried about it. Jerry took his time with me explaining and showing all the differences of the models of the Forester line to me and my wife. I finally picked the Forester that fit what I was looking for and closed the deal. Financing was not stressful or tricky instead rather smooth. Everything went so well my wife inquired about trading her vehicle in to make it a double sale for Jerry. I did not realize while I was making my deal my wife had already found the Forester she liked. Just like me, financing went smooth and thanks to Jerry again for making our experience painless and pleasurable. Even though the day was long I still had enough humor in me to repeat the slogan: If you drive a Subaru you will buy a Subaru to the Owner. I think he was impressed with my imitation. But I really do love my Subaru so far as a first time owner and I'm sure my wife feels the same way.
