I want to give a very special “shout out” to Brad for his oversight of the complicated transmission diagnostic regimen on our 2021 Subaru Ascent. He explained the work to be done in advance, was personally i oversight of the complicated transmission diagnostic regimen on our 2021 Subaru Ascent. He explained the work to be done in advance, was personally involved, arranged for a loaner car (a new Forester), stayed on top of the very complicated process, and kept me updated throughout. All of our work with the Subaru of Jacksonville service department these past 5+ years has been thoroughly professional, but Brad clearly went “above and beyond” from my perspective… although he would probably characterize this as “just another day at the office!” I picked the car up today, and the problem appears to have been resolved. I reached out to Subaru and Joe Crabtree responded immediately with a video of the car I was looking for. He made it easy for me to find what I wanted. The whole process was simple. He found me the car I wanted , He had to drive to Orlando to get it. Had it here the next day. I could not be happier with my experience. Also, the next day I came back and my seat covers were installed, and a technician spent an hour with me going over everything I needed to know about the car. I learned so much more about how safe the Subaru was. Reinforced what I already knew and more about the Subaru I would not own anything other than a Subaru for the safety features of the vehicle. John provided a great detailed explanation of all the gee whiz controls, truly outstanding. His presentation was entertaining and engaging. I was sort of dreading the session as I have a short attention span and thought it would be just a tedious necessity, but John made it thoroughly pleasant. He annotated some of his technical explanations with sketches that made the explanations much faster and easier to communicate. He was patient with my dumb questions and gave complete and very insightful answers to every question. The time went by quickly and now I’m an expert, thanks to John. Thanks, John! More
