Normally I would give this dealership a 5 star rating. I gave it a 2 star this time because I drove from one end of Lutz, Fl. to New Port Richey for no reason at all. I had received a call from Subaru te gave it a 2 star this time because I drove from one end of Lutz, Fl. to New Port Richey for no reason at all. I had received a call from Subaru telling me there was a recall on my Subaru for airbags and another issue. 3 weeks earlier I had it in for routine maintenance and radio update. I had the person double check and she told me there was a recall that was missed. I was leaving later in week for a road trip so I cancelled some other appointments to get my car in before leaving, figuring the airbag recall was an issue I wanted fixed before driving 2,000 miles. The person at Subaru who contacted me made me an appointment. When I arrived the service technician Meryln, who was very nice, informed me I had driven there for no reason. There was no recall on my vehicle. The vehicle with recall was an older Subaru Outback I owned previous to my 2020 Outback. She told me I was not the only one who got a recall notice on bad information. Merlyn was nice enough to top off my fuel to compensate me for the distance I drove and the inconvenience I was caused. More

Had air bag recall and bearing replaced. Tech didn’t connect a/c after completed work. Tech that replaced bearing left grease prints on a/c controls trying to use it on a test drive I’m sure. My wife dr connect a/c after completed work. Tech that replaced bearing left grease prints on a/c controls trying to use it on a test drive I’m sure. My wife drove the car home not using the a/c thereby not knowing. We were heading out of town and I noticed before we left the house and had to use the gas guzzler. I took the dashboard apart and found the a/c unplugged, once plugged in it worked. I received an automated call about the service but when choosing the option for having issues I never heard back. Moral of the story is to check everything on your car before leaving. More
My service was fairly quick (for a 60,000 mile checkup). I feel confident my car is in the best condition it can be.
