Bad rattle I had a rattle in my new car driving me crazy so I took it to service before I went NUTS! I only waited a short while when I was called back to Greg i I had a rattle in my new car driving me crazy so I took it to service before I went NUTS! I only waited a short while when I was called back to Greg in service. I've bought 3 cars from there so Greg knows me well. So I go back there and Greg says "it's not good". Then he told me they found an aluminum can under the driver's seat. I'm sure they are all still laughing as am I! More
I expect better and keep getting let down I go to the dealer for regular maintenance because who is supposed to know my car better than them? I have an Outback and a feature that I was shown when buying the car was that the next maintenance period can be put into the car's system so that it will remind you when it is due for service again. I was told that this is done by our staff here whenever you get service. Well, three times now, that hasn't happened. Well one time they tried and entered it in wrong so my car was reminding me of pending service past due because it was entered wrong. The other 2 times, nothing. Not even clearing out my current schedule. Makes me wonder if they know any more about these cars than the 30 places closer to me that I can go to. I also can't understand why they insist on turning off my headlights whenever I go there. Is that standard procedure? Subaru says to use the auto light feature so that they always automatically come on when needed. I get used to that. So after having service and the first time driving at night afterwards without lights on is dangerous. Sure these things sound petty. But I can't understand why they can't get this right and it really degrades my opinion of their service and ability to do a quality job. They may be doing a fantastic job, I don't know. But the things that I see are failures. They are 0 for 3. I will give them one more try. Since this survey requires me to call out employees by name, I will say that my sales rep, Todd Cross, was excellent. My issue is completely with the service department. More
