The service here was just abysmal up until the end where I finally said something to a manager and he ended up giving me a free tank of gas the next time I come in for a service, whoopie! But to start off, when I had gone there the first time I had looked at a few vehicles and then eventually ended up talking with a manager and he had told me about an Outback XT in green that they had coming in. He then proceeded to ask me what they could do to get me to come back for that vehicle and I told him given my financial situation I would feel comfortable coming back if we could do 30K for the vehicle and throw in an extended warranty. He told me that he couldn’t throw in the warranty but that he could work it out so that everything would be 30K and some change. Well fast forward to a few days later and as I am in there doing the paperwork they tried to pull one over and on the paper it said 33K. SO after hours of back and forth we managed to get the car down to 30K, even though that’s the best he said he could do and other similar models went for 28k, plus the 1.2k for the warranty I agreed because at that point I didn’t have a vehicle and my rental was costing me hundreds a day. SO THEN, when we went to go look at the car it had a bunch of scratches and dings which was previous discussed would be fixed but then there was a giant chip in the windshield that hadn’t been discussed and after an hour they agreed to fix that as well. Fast forward two more days I go to drop my car off and they tell me that everytbing should be ready by this weekend. I did not get my car back for almost two weeks because there were “issues” that occurred such as the installer breaking the new windshield, and the new one taking over a week to get there and the new key having issues getting made. The final cherry on top of this was when I went to go get my car, which I hadn’t driven in three weeks due to this negligence, I see that there are still a bunch of scratch marks and the seat repair looked like someone took hot glue to my LEATHER seat and “patched” it. The salesman says to me “I’m not gonna spend hundreds of dollars fixing up this car”. That is what finally made me go to the manager and talk with him. He set me up with his own touch up guy and in conversation with this individual, he tells me it only costs the dealership around $50 for those simple fixes. But I guess to my salesman $50 was a big deal. So, suffice to say that I pray I never have to go back to this dealership and I pray that the customers of Jack and Frank don’t have to go through what I had to go through. I will say that Kevin over in finance was amazing and went WELL above and beyond his role. That’s the only positive thing I have to say. More
I was promised to repair the Front Windshield chip on driver's side. When I got the car back it was worse than before they "FIXED IT". Then when I brought the "FREE" loaner car back the service advisor t driver's side. When I got the car back it was worse than before they "FIXED IT". Then when I brought the "FREE" loaner car back the service advisor told me that I used too much gas and that I would have to pay for the missing gas! He then checked the odometer and saw I only went about 9 miles. I left there very dissatisfied. Tony Arfi More
