A couple days later we received a package with all the CDs we left in the CD changer in our trade-in vehicle. Very pleased with that, as I had not missed them yet! More

Buying Experience We live near the Canadian Border at elevation in the mountains so my search to replace our 20 year old Honda CRV began online....originally with Honda We live near the Canadian Border at elevation in the mountains so my search to replace our 20 year old Honda CRV began online....originally with Honda after the first of the year. The task was to find the best vehicle for our needs at the best offered price....reducing the number of 260 mile RT's to a dealership....any dealership. My first attempts at online shopping were met by a circus of responses and various versions of the truth depending on the time-of-day....weather...or other unknown variables. Additionally...we were being visited my daughter and family from Zealand so time spent with dealers would subtract from what was most precious to us. I asked each to contact me by e-mail only....ignoring the USE OF the"required" phone number to obtain online quotes. Honda called repeatedly.. Josh Popham not only cut away the clutter between vehicle and price but we actually felt LISTENED TO and we only spoke by telephone the morning we were coming in to complete our purchase. Otherwise all was completed more-than-satisfactorily by e-mail. Now....at 71+ yrs old I am no techno geek but in this case online worked superbly well. ONLY...because Josh was honest...direct....open and LISTENED. Our buying experience with Subaru of Spokane not only changed the brand of vehicle but our confidence in reasonable transactions. Josh it to be commended and we wish him continued success at Honda of Spokane. More
New Outback Jim greeted us as we came to look at the difference between a Forrester and Outback. He was very friendly, helpful, informative and not pushy. He answered all of our questions and was very thorough so we understood the differences and which vehichle would meet our needs. He had us look at several options and we took the Outback for a test drive. Once we decided on the car, he quickly checked to ensure that we qualified for 0% interest, our determining factor on the purchase, which we did. Jim walked us through the entire process, met with the service dept to review any options, then on to Finance which was a quick and easy process. Before we left Jim reviewed all the the display and workings of the car and set up our phone. He also went across the street to park our current car and then to get our insurance info - in the snow!! The entire experience was pleasant and as low a stress as possible. More
Too many return trips I found the vehicle I wanted online. I submitted a request for more information and was contacted quickly. I set a time to come in and look at it. I informed the salesperson helping me, Mark, that if this was the vehicle I was going to buy, I was going to be able to pay cash. The vehicle was used, so I wasn’t expecting perfection, but I was surprised that it wasn’t detailed, if it was, it was very poorly done. There were obvious spots that were not cleaned the windshield (inside) was not cleaned. I was disappointed with how long it took to purchase this car. For some reason, they said that our credit needed to be pulled, even though we were paying cash. I told Mark before we even came in that our daughter was having her birthday party and we needed to be out of there relatively quickly and it just seemed like there was no sense of urgency to get us out of there. Even more upsetting was a couple days after buying this vehicle, I found out that the CD player did not work and the back window wouldn’t roll up properly with the button in the back. I got a hold of Mark and he asked when I could bring it back in. We live outside of town, so I said Saturday. He said that they would get it fixed then. Saturday my husband brought it in and was informed that the GM people don’t work on weekends. So, I had to bring it back in during the week. I was told there was nothing wrong with the window, they took it apart and it works. The CD player needs to be replaced and they were going to charge me $160 to fix it...on a vehicle I just bought...and I’m pretty sure was advertised as having a CD player. I got a hold of the manager, Mike, and let him know what was going on and he said they’d pay to fix the CD player. I finally got it fixed. Austin, on the service side, was very friendly and helpful. I just wish that the whole process would have gone a lot faster and smoother. More

Best new car-buying experience! Steve Blue was very friendly, professional in our dealings with him. He provided explanations for all of our questions and concerns. He explained all features, options, accessory packages, etc., enabling us to make the best choice to fit our wants, needs and budget. Stephany especially liked that he programmed her cell phone and call list into the car infotainment system which showing her how to operate it and it's features. My husband appreciated Steve's answering the questions that arose; especially around options/accessory packages from using the Costco on-line buying program as relates to the actual vehicles. Steve was great about showing us several vehicles and we were able to choose the specific features that we wanted and most valued. Unlike past car purchase experiences it was not stressful and was a positive experience. The waiting area you folks have was nicely set up with hot beverage service and popcorn, and Steve checked on us and updated us twice while we were waiting for paperwork to be done. All in all a very nice afternoon - thanks!!! More
