I bought from a dealership because I was hoping I could trust them over a personal sale or a smaller lot. I called them not expecting them to pay for everything out right. But management there completely blew me off and wouldn't even talk to me. The message relayed to me was that it's yours now and not their problem. Talking to me and maybe hearing me out would have went a long way. I won't be purchasing another car from them. And I'll drive to the next closest chrysler dealership when I need stuff for our wrangler. More
My wife and I have been to many dealerships over the last several months. At best, we would describe these visits as a waste of time. We became resigned to the fact that getting a used car that met our cr several months. At best, we would describe these visits as a waste of time. We became resigned to the fact that getting a used car that met our criteria would have to come from somewhere else besides a dealership. However, we had one last appointment scheduled and decided to keep it. Based on our previous experiences, we determined that we would stay no longer than 10 minutes. Our appointment at SCDJR of Troy was with Jake Soules. Turns out that our time spent with Jake lasted more than 10 minutes. Curious how someone with no previous experience in sales could be such an excellent sales person. Jake took the time to get to know us first. He asked questions - and he listened. I do believe that Jake was more interested that we found what were looking for then he was in making a sale. It was necessary for my wife and I to return on another day to sign off on the car. Turns out that the one day that fit in with our schedule was the one day that Jake had scheduled to take off from work. We didn't find that out until after the fact. The other people that we encountered in the purchasing process at SCDJR of Troy were both professional and personal, which confirmed why this dealership has such a high rating. But it would be fair to say that my wife and I bought a car - at a dealership - because of Jake Soules. More

They falsely advertised the Jeep I bought. They advertised with the VIN. Number that the car I bought had Sirius xm radio. I tried to connect it, while I still in the parking lot. After spending two days trying to figure it out, I took the car in and was told it did not have the option advertised, nor the capability. The manager and Jerrod told me “ just steam through your phone” I said that was false advertising and the manager said the dealership isn’t responsible for the false advertising. When I called Jeep Corporate, they said the dealership is clearly responsible, And I needs to make good on the advertised sale. They also said my jeep has a corrosion warranty which I clearly stated was a deal breaker. I was given false appointments and false information . I completely disgusted with this dealership. I’ve made reports to the FTC and BBB. I’m contacting my state representative as it applies to used car sales scams as well. Jerrod has no conscious and lied straight to my face. Nobody should buy anything from a company who will not stand by their advertised product. Save yourself the nightmare I’m living just to get what you paid for. I can’t even put into words the stress this whole thing has caused me. More
