The problem had to do with carbon buildup in my 2016 Tiguan, Research says that this is to be expected every 60,000 miles or so. It has been less than 7,000 miles! Insult to injury, no response to my request to hear from the dealership on the matter. As soon as I click Submit, I am contacting the Michigan Department of Automotive Regulation to file a complaint and request an investigation of the Dealership’s handling of this “repair” of my car. He was very knowledgeable and gave me the feeling that he would do his best for me. I ended up buying the car in less than hour from seeing it. Picked it up that afternoon. Generally I consider myself a hard sell. More

Then they tried to falsify documents to make it seem like the car came in with that damage. Not to mention how unbelievably uncooperative and unprofessional Amir Chaaban and Chris Lange, the service manager and director respectively, have been. On top of that, they tried to charge me $80 to put a new battery in my car even though Vyletel VW said they would do it for free. In total, they tried to charge me $320 for a battery I later picked up, and got installed (for free) at Belle Tire for $185. Highway robbery. Dealing with the service manager, Amir Chaabani, has been like pulling teeth, and. It is painfully obvious in dealing with him that he gives no craps about the customer, or doing the right thing for that matter (i.e., being honest). He lied, and said no one from the dealership signed for the car, when the documentation proved otherwise. The tow truck driver inspected the vehicle before picking it up, and noted no dents. Then the car gets damaged while at suburban VW, and they try to cover it up by falsifying documents and saying the car came in that way. While staff who was with me when I pointed the dent out were trying to be supportive, Amir effectively tells me it's not his problem. Amir lied a second time, saying Suburban VW recorded the car for the entirety of its stay and that the video proved the car was not damaged while in their care. I asked him to share the footage, and he sent it to the wrong email address (even though they have my email address on file, and I repeated it to him over the phone). When I finally get the mp4, it's a 4 minute video of my car in the parking lot, where my care is barely visible no less. There's no footage of any work being done on the car, or the car being washed. There's not even footage of the car at night. Either he lied about having footage of the car for the entirety of its stay, or he knowingly withheld footage of the car being damaged. When I tell him the video he has is useless, and does not prove in any way shape or form the damage did not occur while the care was in their care, he flat out says it's my problem and that he can't help me. So I ask for his supervisor's contact info, and he says I'll get a call from them. 1.5 weeks later, no call. And on top of that, he stops responding to my texts. This man has no business dealing with people, period. Suburban VW needs to recognize and get him trained or make sure no customers ever have to interact with him. I recommend avoiding this place like the plague, because of Amir and Chris Lange and the terrible way they interact with customers and lack of ethics. More
