Good experiance at Sun Toyota After my husband emailed Sun Toyota about the email he received about your sale Don Smith contacted us and he told Don Smith we would be in on Sunday After my husband emailed Sun Toyota about the email he received about your sale Don Smith contacted us and he told Don Smith we would be in on Sunday July 3, 2016 and Don Smith said he would see us. When we first arrived at Sun Toyota we assumed we had appointment with Don Smith but when we arrived we hear Don Smith isn't even in so they sent Carlos Allicock. To be honest my husband wasn't happy that Don Smith made the appointment and he wasn't even there. We could of been told by Don Smith he wouldn't be available when we were coming in and he would have someone else assist us but that didn't happen and we almost walked out we didn't even get a courtesy call. Carlos Allicock was very caring and understanding of our frustration and he took really good care of us. We bought our first Toyota back in 2009 for our daughter and came back to purchase our RAV4 on July 3, 2016. But it almost didn't happen because Don Smith or someone from dealer didn't even consider calling and letting us know someone else would be taking care of us. I would suggest in the future if a salesman can't be of assistance when its convenient for the customer then he should let the customer know in advance so there are no surprises. More

If your time is valuable, go see Jack Duffie! I have two small kids, and car shopping with them can be a challenge. I started talking with Jack through email, told him to make the car buying process as quick as possible for me and he went above and beyond to make that request come true. Jack was so easy to work with. He ordered the car I wanted, didn't take a lot of time haggling with the price, had the car ready when promised, and just made everything very smooth in regards to buying a car. It was literally the quickest and most painless car buying experience I've had. And I've bought quite a bit of cars. Sun Toyota has an amazing dealership. All state of the art, clean, bright, fully staffed, and great employees. I would definitely buy from them again. Thanks again, Jack! More

Update 10/21/2017 dishonesty at all levels. Update: Still own the truck, found a great Toyota dealer for service, not Sun Toyota, still love my truck but still remain sorely disappointed in Sun Update: Still own the truck, found a great Toyota dealer for service, not Sun Toyota, still love my truck but still remain sorely disappointed in Sun Toyota. They should not be allowed to sell Toyota products. I was contemplating whether or not to update but I feel it's necessary. When I purchased my truck there was a discrepancy in the paperwork which indicated I was charged for the original wheels in addition to the custom wheels which were installed. After much discussion I was told if I returned to the dealer I would be given the original wheels that were included with my purchase. I had returned for my first service and the service manager told me they had put the wheels in the back of my truck. They did, but not before removing the TPS sensors and valve stems. The service manager opened the tailgate to show me the tread on the tires but didn't open the tonneau cover so I could see what they'd done. THIS WAS A SHADY MOVE BY A DISHONEST DEALER! I am incredibly disappointed at how many people at the dealership knew of this dishonest move and helped to cover it up. I thought I had found a dealer I could trust but I now realize that no matter how big a dealership is or how small they are all untrustworthy. Thoroughly disappointed. I had searched online before visiting Sun Toyota and emailed a request for more information on a particular vehicle. Within minutes I was contacted by Niko Grivas and he was very pleasant and helpful. The next day I showed up a few minutes late and there was Niko right in front of the dealership with the truck all ready to go for a test drive. I loved it, he got the deal done quickly and to my full satisfaction. I took the truck home and halfway there I realized this was not the right truck for me, not enough options, entirely my fault. I called Niko the next morning and he told me to come on in and they would gladly exchange it for the truck I wanted, no questions asked!! So now I am very happy in my new Tacoma and to be perfectly honest it was the best experience with buying a vehicle I've ever had. And I am not an easy customer. I would give them 6 stars if it were possible. **UPDATE** After purchasing my vehicle I began reading through the papers and realized that I was charged for the stock wheels and tires and also charged for the aftermarket wheels and tires. I tried reaching out to the dealer but received the typical 'we discounted the new wheels and tires routine' I have checked online and at other Toyota dealers and realized that not only were the new wheels not discounted but I actually overpaid for them. So originally I thought I had found a trustworthy, honest dealer but in the end realized that I still have yet to find an honest dealer. I will NOT EVER return to Sun Toyota for a vehicle or for service. **Second update** I received a call from Lori (hope I spelled that correctly) in the customer relations department prior to my last update but had not reached out to her because I didn't have time to go through another futile discussion. Big mistake on my part! She has completely changed my opinion of Sun Toyota. I will not be returning as a future customer though. 3 stars. More
