I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been extremely frustrating. After purchasing my vehicle from Sun Toyota, I had a remaining deferred payment of $999.99. The Marine Corps League Fo been extremely frustrating. After purchasing my vehicle from Sun Toyota, I had a remaining deferred payment of $999.99. The Marine Corps League Foundation approved an emergency grant to pay that amount directly to the dealership. All I needed from Sun Toyota was the exact payee name, mailing address, and reference information so the Foundation could send the check. I reached out repeatedly by text, email, and phone over multiple days. My messages were read, I left voicemails, and I repeatedly explained that a veterans nonprofit was ready to send the dealership the full amount owed. Despite that, I still could not get a straightforward answer. The ACH authorization paperwork also states that the payment can be revoked by calling a listed number. When I called that number, it routed directly to Sun Toyota. I also made it clear that I was trying to cancel the ACH and replace it with direct payment from the Foundation. This should have been a very simple process: provide the payment instructions, cancel the scheduled ACH, and accept the $999.99 payment. Instead, I spent days trying to get basic information. I appreciate the help I received when purchasing the vehicle, but the communication and follow-through afterward have been extremely disappointing. I simply wanted to complete the transaction, make sure Sun Toyota was paid, and move on. More
