On the plus side, Sunset had just the used van i was looking for. But things got a little tacky as the deal progressed. Sunset touts their lifetime linited power-train warranty. So I am left to assume the claim fulfillment rate is too low to publish and that like others have found, this is largely just a marketing line. To Sunset's credit, they did repair some body work, but the sales person did not alert me to this damage before i drove 2.5 hours to view the van. Then when I arrived to close the deal and retrieve the van, my salesman, despite committing to be there, was nowhere to be found. He had essentially ghosted me after I put down a deposit. The final insult was that i was handed only a single key to the van. This was a high-end, late-model van bought at a preimium price and Sunset couldn't see its way to providing a second set of keys. Tacky. So my take is, if you can't find what you're looking for anywhere else, Sunset will do. But if you can get the same vehicle elsewhere, you should do so. More

The experience with the used truck was definitely not anywhere near the quality of the brand new purchase. I wouldn't advise dealing with or appreciate the used truck team that assisted us. My father is a 103 yr.old WW2 veteran. I would not have expected the used car guys that "served" us to have the personality they did. The salesman that assisted us with the brand new 2020 blazer is super down to earth and ALWAYS speaks to me when I go in for the free oil changes. And he asks about my father. I can't place his name at the moment but he is very nice and pleasant to speak to. To bad the used crew isn't as skilled as him. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase new. But I can't come anywhere near the quality of service with the used truck crew. The truck is great and have had no issues from the service crew whatsoever. If looking for a used truck and are helped by the guys that helped us, look for another dealer or search out someone from the new car crew. But overall, this would be a very good place to deal with brand new CAR purchases and have a lifelong business relationship. The good guy shouldn't be snubbed for a few inconsiderate, uppidy, and condescending few. Definitely go new and you will more than likely be very pleased. More
