I am very disappointed in my recent experience at sunset Chevrolet. After bringing my 2017 suburban in with multiple concerns, I was met with multiple roadblocks along the way. First, when scheduling the Chevrolet. After bringing my 2017 suburban in with multiple concerns, I was met with multiple roadblocks along the way. First, when scheduling the appointment I was told that they would need the car at minimum of 1-2 days and I let them know this is my primary vehicle and I would need a loaner. They had no loaners in stock so I had to wait a month to be seen. Then once I showed up for my SCHEDULED appointment I was told they no longer had any loaners and I would need to be given a rental car instead. Then they proceed to tell me it will be at least an hours wait on the rental. I have 3 kids and a full time job so I made the appointment so I could quickly be in and out. What is the point of having an appointment time if things are still not ready when agreed upon?? They then had the car for over 4 days and were unable to replicate any of the issues I had brought it in for. My husband had to come down to the dealership and physically show the technician and service advisor what was going on and low and behold they could hear what was going on. One of the concerns was the front lip had come loose (it had been loose since purchasing) and they were going to charge $200 to acre in 2 bolts??? My husband spoke with the service manager to only charge 30 min of time but really? To screw in 2 bolts it cost $90?! This should have been done out of courtesy and the service advisor (Jake Bohren) miscommunicated how much this was going to cost. Finally, after getting the transmission diagnosis they car was fixed after 3 total weeks. After all that time and hassle I would expect that maybe taking the car through a car wash or vacuum it out would be a nice thing to do for a customer but of course not. I am not happy with the service, lack of communication and seemingly disinterested attitude I don’t want to do anymore business with this company. More
Got my car in on time the attendant I spoke with was both friendly and professional. Genuinely listened to me as I spoke with him.
