Positive car buying experience My experience at Sunset Ford and with my salesman, Jim Wagstaff, was positive! I had been looking for a small SUV to replace my 19 year old van. My My experience at Sunset Ford and with my salesman, Jim Wagstaff, was positive! I had been looking for a small SUV to replace my 19 year old van. My husband inquired about a Ford Edge on a Monday afternoon and I was able to test drive it that evening when I got off work. My time was limited so Jim had the car waiting for me so I would not have to wait. Jim was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. I had many questions since a lot had changed since the last time I purchased a vehicle. He listened to what I was wanting in a car and let us test drive a 2nd car that evening. We were able to determine that the 1st car would better suit my needs. We agreed on a price and the deal was sealed. We returned a couple days later and purchased the car. Jim had patience with me when teaching me all the ins and outs on how to operate my new SUV and how to use the many options it had to offer. New Explorer They were ok at best. Started out to buy a 2018 Explorer but did not have what I wanted. Closest thing was a Demo with over 6000 miles and they tried They were ok at best. Started out to buy a 2018 Explorer but did not have what I wanted. Closest thing was a Demo with over 6000 miles and they tried selling it at a slightly reduced price. 6000 plus miles is a used car not demo and price was way above used car price. Didn’t want to deal much with price of the 2019. This question is for Ford company it’s self. Why only have loyalty pricing occasionally? If I’m a loyal customer then I’m loyal all the time not just when they can’t sell cars. More

That is the first time I've ever purchased a vehicle on my own, and also the first time I've ever traded in a vehicle. Both of these guys were great in walking me through the process and putting me at ease on such a big decision. I absolutely LOVE my new truck, and Keith, you will be glad to know I found the Sat Radio immediately after I left the dealership. I only really have two complaints to make. First, most dealers fill the gas tank the first time as a courtesy. This was not done on mine. Second, when I got home my fiancee said the truck smelled of cigarette smoke that had been in there quite a while. Other than those two gripes, you really cannot go wrong with this dealership. If you happen to buy pre-owned, definitely do yourself a favor and ask for Keith Boerding. Thanks guys!! More
